Note for the new version: The trigger for the last objective fires too early thereby ending the mission before you can get to the last waypoint to participate. I'm fixing this now. Hopefully a new version is up soon. There's a few other tweeks I need to do as well but will try to get it up asap. Updated to v1.6. The final task should trigger on time now. Note: It ends abruptly. I'll fix that. One thing I miss in the alpha is certain editor objects like files, map, etc. Would be nice to get a search and recover objective in there at the end. Hopefully the beta will include some. My plans are to turn this into a campaign so I may end this mission soon and begin the next part in a new mission. I'll probably start adding in dialogue, cutscenes, etc soon but I haven't looked into any of that yet. Hopefully it's just like A2. Still needs task hints too but I can't figure out the new task system.

Updated version 1.5 in the first post. **Uses newest development build** Additions: More bad guys More objectives Player team reinforcements Artillery support Other tweaks Note: Though I've added new objects there is no dialogue yet. Just follow the tasks they give hints to the story line. I'll build all that stuff in later.

Anyone having problems with this and the newer dev builds? I can't get the units to patrol any more. They walk a bit than just stop.

Thanks Tonic, I appreciate it. Yeah I figured that was probably the case or someone woulda unlocked the chutes if they were there. No they're "unlocking" stuff like Tonic-_- mentioned. I don't know the specifics of it but there's Russian divers, some civilians, OPFOR in different camo and some other stuff. Some other heli layouts as well. No new vehicles or stuff like that. Just additional things or so it seems. I haven't tried the addons yet.

Anyone know if it can be unlocked? Is it in the config? I see some people have addons that unlock more unit models, back, packs, etc and was wondering if anyone knows if a parachute exists in the config somewhere that could be unlocked? I'm dying to use some in a mission. lol I keep checking the dev build changelog hoping BIS will add the parachute one of these days. It's missed.

I just DL'd the most recent version of this mission, playing with todays Dev build and the 1st objectives still start out completed. Is anyone else still getting this problem? Maybe the most recent dev build messed it up again

Sorry for late response. Thanks for the kind words. Glad to know it worked in Coop. I never tested it in MP(TBH I've never played any ArmA game MP) but when I was playing it I did think about how fun it would be in coop. :) Of course, feel free to post the video. I'll check it out. Are there bolt action rifle in arma 3 alpha ?

You can kinda make em appear in campaign mode. You could make a replacement addon to swap out certain guns for other ones. Obviously you'd need to know which guns appear in the campaign but I think it's possible if you do it that route. ---------- Post added at 06:56 ---------- Previous post was at 06:53 ---------- You can pretty much do whatever you want in this series, when it comes to modding, etc. Bring your talent to A3, we're better than BF3 ;) -

Can anyone confirm this. I'm using the newest development build and in any SP mission I try the command menu is mostly empty. Commands still work but you cant see them. Doesn't work for me in the Editor either. -

Thank you, I appreciate that. Glad you enjoy it. lol I wish I could take credit for that. Kronsky and Silola's scripts make it so. They're fantastic. I must say it is pretty fun though. I've been enjoying it and I'm really impressed with A3. They ai teammates actually help out instead of just getting killed like they would in A1/A2. I can't wait to see all the good stuff that the release version and the community comes up with. I have a feeling I'll be making quite a few missions. There's a lot of potential in this game.

if you made it with dev people without it wont be able to play since a few class names have been changed, etc. Unless you didn't use the Irfits or know a work around. People should use the dev version anyways cause the Missions folder works now.

Updated to v1.3 in first post. You can now use the Missions folder to play it.

I can't seem to find anything about this on the forum. Why isn't there one yet? You guys should really get on that in the development builds. It's not the end of the world but playing the missions via MP or the Editor is gettin a bit old. I'd make MP missions but I never have and I'm trying to remember how to make missions in general. It's been a while. Is it difficult to implement a SP missions folder? For some reason it doesn't seem like it should be. Just curious. If this is in the wrong section or been answered please lock.

Just a heads up, the development version just activated the SP missions folder. No need to play it in MP or the Editor I need to post an update because apparently I have to open it in the editor and click save for it to work properly. Hopefully I'll have it posted in a few hours.
