  1. After the PMC release and the most recent BIS updates I noticed I can't play other Campaigns anymore. If I select Singleplayer-> Campaign-> Operation Crimson Lance(or any other) it goes directly to the PMC Campaign mission selection screen as if I had selected it in the first place. I've tried it with the most recent PMC update + A2OA v1.57 and with the most recent OA betas.

  3. Did they remove the AA ammo for OPFOR? The classname was RPG32_AA_F and then changed to M_RPG32_AA_F but no I'm getting an error that says no such thing. Also I dont see it in the config viewer in the editor. That allinone is not easier to use. What do I do with it? Just search the .cpp file? Six config browser is much better EDIT: I may be mistaken but it looks likes it was replaced by a Titan

  5. Thanks for the update. Is it just on my end or does team member # 2 never start with a silencer? I've seen him have one in prior versions but for the last few he never does when we get to the island. All the rest do. I've tried multiple restarts and still no silencer. I use the dev branch and have no addons/mods running, not even cba
  6. NIKO, That getting stuck thing has been happening for me randomly in pretty much every mission I've DL'd and made. It seems to be happening a bit more in the beta though. Sometimes they become unstuck if you order them to go prone then kneel. But sometimes that wont fix it. It's one of the reasons I've made all my A3 SP missions have team switch. Switching to the stuck member and walking and changing stances usually fixes it, temporarily. I've been meaning to report this to BI but I can never replicate it, just seems random.
  7. This mission really is so damn fun. I'm playing the new SP version but the armed civilian patrols don't seem to be fighting the opfor patrols. They just walk right past each other. Is it supposed to be like that? IIRC they used to fight each other the second I landed. Also one of my teammates sometimes doesn't have a silencer. It seems to be random though because I've had all members start out with silencers when I've restarted. Tried to restart 6 times and 2 twice one of my guys didn't have a silencer when we landed on the island. Correction: It seems some armed civ patrols do engage the enemy. Now I've seen a few instances where some groups engage but others walk right by the enemy in the same mission
  8. This is a fun mission. The one thing I would add is silencers cause it's so fun to play this mission more stealth like. I just added a crate so I could tweak my loadout, I do this in all missions I DL, but other than that I had a lot of fun. I'm really impressed with A3 so far. I'm gonna check out how you made this mission cause it played real well. Enemy support worked well when I caused a bit of a scene and those helis were a pain in the ass. :)
  9. I'm sure this is a pointless question and the answer is no but is there an easier way to switch the addons names and classnames instead of doing it manually? Like some secret converter or some feature the Beta version adds that I'm missing. These new names are terrible. I'm having difficulty figuring out which is which, it's painfully slow. I'd like to update my mission for you guys but it's taking so long I'm about to say screw it. I'm pumped about the beta but dreading updating my released mission and the 2 WIPs...but I suppose it's my own damn fault for making such a large mission with the Alpha version. lol

    Version 2 available in the first post. Not many big changes, just small tweaks and made it compatible with the A3 Beta. If you haven't updated to the beta it will not work.
  11. I keep getting errors about the classnames of the magazines I've added to units. I'm assuming they've changed but I see no mention of them in DnA's dev branch post. E.g. 30Rnd_65x39_case_mag doesn't work anymore. Does anyone know the new classnames. I tried looking in the .pbos but I have no idea how to open the proper file. Edit: Released I can use the config viewer. I think the mag has been removed case all i see is "caseless"
  12. Did they change the magazine names too? I keep getting an error about no entry for 30rnd_65x39_case_mag but I don't see magazine listed by DnA in the dev branch thread

  15. Thanks 2nd, I'll try that. I was gonna use that method anyways but just wanted to see what was going on with the wp method. I've tried a few different buildings and the same thing happens. Not sure what's going on.
  16. I'm using the old fashion way to make units move to building positions but I've encountered a problem. I put a bunch of single units(none grouped) around a building. I give each unit a wp in the building to man a specific position.(1-9 let's say) But then when I go in game to check on them they all go to the same spot. Back in the editor I try to tweak each soldiers waypoint but when I select the soldier and then select a wp it doesn't let me choose the wp for each specific unit. It seems whenever I add a wp and try to give it a different build position it changes the wps for all the prior soldiers, thus making all go to the same spot and have the same wp. For some reason when all the units' wps are place on the same building there is no way to differentiate between a specific soldiers wp and they're all given the same one based on the last wp added. But I notice in this video(near 2:30min) ! he doesn't have that issue. I'm doing the same thing he is but my units all go to the same building position.Anyone have this issue?
  17. I can never navigate that file hosting site. They all seem to give me a dl for a dl manager and not the .pbo. Edit: Can anyone find the right link? every dl I press gives me some launcher I don't want. Do I need to dl that launcher in order to get the file? Edit 2: I finally found it. the zippy share link has it after you skip the ad for that livid dl. That site is nasty. holy pop ups and misleading links

    I noticed the artillery doesn't show up anymore. I'm not sure what's going on there. I think it happened after yesterday's dev patch. I didn't change anything about the set up but i'll try to figure out the cause. I haven't checked the alpha feedback site yet but maybe it's a known issue.

    New version v1.95 in first post. Dammit made a mistake, sorry. New version v1.96 in first post. Added: *Hopefully fixed air support heli from dying before it got to player *Final objectives *Tweaked and added enemies *Cleaned up some stuff Note there still is no cutscenes, dialogue, radio sounds, etc. I'll start on that stuff now that I have the final part of mission 1 added. ALso be aware that the optional missions do not check off in the task menu. They are completing just not showing it in Tasks. Hopefully I can figure it out one of these days. This mission will not get any longer. I'll continue it in a new mission. Now it's time to polish this one up and add the storyline.

    That's my fault I think. I think it's only set up to show up for the player. I've updated the task system in a newer version and it looks like it should be easier to figure out how to get the objectives to show for the whole group. Hopefully I'll have this version up today.   22. Did they change the class names or remove some rifles after a dev patch? My script, which worked before, that spawned the west diver gun in a crate doesn't work any more. Says the class name doesn't exist. I had this problem with another rifle, an ebr maybe. Cant remember but it started a few days ago. I couldn't find anything about it in the dev change log but I may have missed it. Anyone else have this problem? Looks like it's the 7.62 mag is what changed not the ebr class name ---------- Post added at 13:59 ---------- Previous post was at 12:11 ---------- Actually I'm not sure what's going on now. I don't think it's a rifle class name change. Just the mag. This may just be a problem on my end. My apologies if it is.

    [ALPHA] Sabotage Script

    This is a great script but I was wondering if there was a way to make it be denoted by the player and not a timer. I'm trying to make the objective be blow up 3 boats so I'd like to be able to place each bomb then blow them up at the end all together. Is there away to do that with this script?
