Is it possible to script the gunshot sounds as an effect in front of your gun rather than from within your gun? The current problem is when you shoot and quickly turn you can still hear the bang and echo in front of you on the weapon rather then from where you fired it. Basically the gun is the first and last source of sound when you fire it which is wrong. In reality if I fire and turn left 90 degrees I expect to hear the echo in my right ear. The idea is to make the sound come out in front of your position to eliminate this problem. I was thinking some clever scripting with event handlers could do this.

That effect mod isn't very realistic. The smoke/dust from hand grenades isnt supposed to plume out slow like that. In real life grenades visually just turn into an instant ball of smoke & dust when they detonate. Its probably more of a Hollywood effects mod.

Are you starting it with the correct shortcut as described in the readme? I'm getting this too and yes I am using the newest shortcut created in the ArmA directory by the patch The game does start though.

You ask why? Answer: Because ArmA can! It's pretty safe to say SL is a popular MP map with servers actually named after it. In Sims you cant shoot people or freely drive about. I don't think any other life RPG game in the world offers the level of freedom ArmA offers.

Would be cool to have that pack added but it's best to wait until 2.0 is released because RHS pistol pack 1.5 has very crappy sounds.
