    Regarding Wuschel's choppy framerate.I was experiencing the same thing.At roughly the same point.Turning off the smoke appeared to help,but now I think that may have been coincidence. Because I turned it back on to verify it,and everything seemed to work just fine.I haven't been able to reproduce it so far,despite several attempts. I don't recall experiencing any excessive load times though.

    @Wuschel The hit could be related to the smoke itself.Try setting it to false in the "options.sqs". :)

    They're just normal p3ds with their own selections.Like a house,a weapon or a vehicle.VektorBoson's tutorial is a great place to start,if you'd like to learn a bit more about dialogs.

    I'm sure he'll be looking in from time to time.But he may yet find a solution for the graphical problems he's been having. :) In the meantime,providing there's no objections,I'll continue whatever work I'm doing.

    Hello guys, Well.I got out of the habit of deadlines and release dates,a long time ago.It just serves to unrealistically raise hopes.For me at least,this is just a game.Albeit a great game.But modding for it amounts to a hobby,not a lifestyle or career choice.So bear in mind,although it started several months ago,I haven't been working on it every day since then.It's not always possible. :) At the moment I'm not working on any vehicles.Just working on units and weapons.Whether or not BronzeEagle is considering it,I'm not sure. :)

    OdolExplorer tends to ruin the named selections,when it converts from Odol to editable Mlod.It's not too bad on a simple model with just a few selections,like a weapon.But things like vehicles and characters end up being very difficult to correct.You could fix the problem using a BIS tank as a reference,so you can see which selections have been messed up. But it will need some patience. :)

    Whaa?I don't think federal express do condiments. @kikkoman808 Depbo them and have a look.You can use a tool like Pbox,Pbo decryptor 1.5 or Pbo tool.

    That kind of thing is outside the scope of what I'm doing Miho.I'm trying not to veer too much out of modelling and textures.Maybe BronzeEagle could give you more info on that question. As for the glasses,I'm not too sure if there's anything like that out there.Nothing that specific anyway. :)

    Nothing wrong with it. You could give people the option of having the standalone addons,or a mod folder with an edited main config and DTAext.Whether or not it's worth it for 1 or two PBOs would be the question. But the addons could still be used outside the mod folder.Unless I've missed something. :)

    Hello Miho, The problem is,if you animate it that way,then the hand will be in that position for every rifle they pick up.Regardless of it having a handle or not.I don't know about the feasibility of having looping scripts checking for weapon type.But even if that were possible,it would still require the creation of a new set of animations based around that hand position.Or some setobjecttexture trickery.Which would come with it's own set of problems. Not straight out of the box,so to speak.They're different enough to need tweaking,for other animation sets.As for any special features,I'm not getting involved in detailed configs or scripting.Just models and texturing. I'm not too sure what you mean about the hummers.

    I may not have worded that very well,but I wasn't implying that you shouldn't discuss things openly. I use open source applications myself.Although I'm not running linux,I'm familiar with some aspects of the open source community. I don't have a mac.My user name is derived from my own first name. ;)

    Actually,with the exception of the addons Sanc's incorporated,It's a one man show.But he's even done so much work on them,they could be considered unique versions.A lot of work has gone on behind the scenes. :)

    Hello Miho,BronzeEagle, I was re-working pretty much all of them.They're a bit on the large side and they could do with a facelift. Although for the moment I'm concentrating on the infantry. But it'll be M4s all round.I'll be throwing in the M24,M40a3,and M14 dmr too.

    Looks great Marcomio.Very nice work.And as was already said,getting rid of any noticable pattern is impossible with tileable textures.The only effective way to combat it,is to add enough interest with "clutter",so the viewer isn't focused on it. You've done very well with the project so far.Looking forward to trying it out. :)

    RE:The Stryker I'm afraid you're stuck with using the weapon in 3rd person view.At least for that version. The stryker is based on the car class.So no sights is a limitation for the gunner.It could have been cured by changing it to a tank class,but that would in turn change the handling of the vehicle.I didn't think the trade off was worth it.But Thunderbird changed it to tank class for the 2007 version of FFur.So try that out. As far as I'm concerned,it's as finished as it's going to get.I've no plans to re-visit it. :)

    Have you had a look on OFP.info?There's an avia bus(converted truck),as well as some small,volkswagen van size buses.

    Well,you could do it.But whether or not you'd want to do the large amount of work it would involve,is another thing entirely.It wouldn't be a simple conversion.And it's not something ,I personally,plan on doing. :)
