Logitech G1. Cheap and good. Mine's a bit more dirtier than this, but no matter how hard I scrub my hands or how many times I do it, if I even touch the mouse I get dirt on it.

Quick update on my Sdkfz, refining interior. Don't think I'll progress much more than this, I'll add the rest with textures. Planning to make the viewports fully animated using the turnout option.

Yeah, their tanks truly looked awsome, however they are not the least bit optimized for ArmA. The last time I looked at the PzIII it had far too many textures for ArmA. I'd love to help out bdfy though, I love Lib41, one of the awsomest mods for OFP, IMO.

Does the smoke screen work like it should? I'm not sure if it's on my end or something else, but I was waiting in an ambush for some tanks, camoed up and I spotted them, fired a shot but missed and fired up some smoke and when I was reversing and doing manvoures to reach cover(still behind the smoke) I got destroyed by two T-72s.

Well, after a few more tries, I finally got it. Used a very simple sat image and a very simple mask, plus I converted the pngs to paa using pal2pac instead of texview, and magically it works! For some reason it doesn't want to work with the depboed PAAs. Perhaps if you save them to png and use pal2pac? Bleh, I'll test around later. And an image of success:

If that's addressed to me then as far as I'm concerned the mere ability to scale cliffs opens up the possibility of doing more realistic raid missions and is well worth working on for that reason alone, regardless of how "cack" it might look. However, I do intend to investigate what might be done to implement a reasonably realistic generic cliff-climbing feature, with appropriate anims. Admit it Faulkner, you want to do a Guns Of Navarone mission. -

Hmm, can anybody explain to me in a way for dummies how big my mask should be for a 1024x1024 map with a 5m cell? The manual just confuses me and I get lost. Also, does anybody know what's the difference between a pixel and a texel? And, if you make a change on the mask or sat image do you have to reimport the sat+mask or does it do the changes itself?

Not as of yet. I've got some refrence drawings but I haven't started working on the models. I have the german WIP model which I'll use in one way or another, but for the british one, nothing right now. @Bracken: I've been working in 3d for about 5 years now. @Everybody else: thanks for the support guys!

Now, lets not let this topic die at a time like this! Well, this is more of a done than working on, but it depends on which stage you look at it: If you look at it from the whole model+texture view, it's still in the WIP stage. If you look at it from the unwrap view it's done. Now I hope I'm not breaking any rules in this topic, again. I hate unwrapping.

Depends on the clan or server. Most clans have thier own server which uses the modpack that the clan adds to their site which is usually a complation of community created addons.

Thank god it looks nothing the same! The old Game2 screenshots were awful! Downright awful!
