    FFUR/SLX 2007

Hey Rico, it just means that you should get back to working with your ADF MOD. FFUR-SLX made me laugh big time when I tried the first mission. You know when your squad/team leader asks you to run to the 5T truck? Well when I turned back from reaching the 5T, the armor depots turned into apartment buildings and my entire squad were on the top floor. What made it funnier was that my squad leader was yapping at me from the window...

I had my friends kitten chew through my CAT-5 cable during a LAN causing me to boot off the network during a tense game and the rest of the LAN. But... this thread is kind of...eh...

    Realism & Modern Gameplay

Otester sounded like he was talking more of Capture and Hold then CTI. C&H is a lot like the play mode in the BF series. OFP has a huge amount of great "mini BF" maps with those gameplay modes.

OFP photography - Questions & comments

Nope not asfaik, it comes with your gfx card settings. You should have a small icon in your desktop tray, right click and you should be able to select it. I know what you're talking about, I'll try searching for that feature, thanks!

    Laptop for ARMA

Inspiron E1705 is what I am going to try and get soon. My main concern is upgrading hardware, as it usually is in any gamers case. I heard that Dell allows people to ship their laptops in to do upgrades on video cards (thank goodness Dell headquarters is located 5 hours from me in Round Rock, Texas). Which brings me to my next question, does ArmA rely more on processor power or video card power? The laptop I am looking at getting has this processor and video card: -Intel C2D T7200 (2.00GHz, 4MB L2 Cache, 667 MHz FSB) -GeForce Go 7900GS 256MB This processor should last all of ArmAs existence as it is the only thing I will be playing until Game2 (which hopefully will run on the same processor)

    FAO BIS - FEATURE REQUEST

Oh boy i'm late. I saw this topic before and don't know why I didn't give it the attention it deserves. Anyways... **Signed** HoJO: Hojo, you wouldn't want a topic dedicated to adding immense pressure on BIS to release important tools. Just like with ArmA and a few regrets of rushing, we wouldn't want BIS to do the same with the MOD tools. The strokefist anim is a simple request. My favorite zombie maps (not MODs, don't know what to call it) was the Nogova Virus series. It was simple, great, innovative and used scripting ingenuity without the hassle of addons. This is where the strokefist anim will come in handy.

    Health system

Every OFP veteran of MP mode has needed this feature that has been demanded before. There as been dozens of times when one of my teammates cripples himself early in a mission and just ends up nading himself after 2 minutes of crawling.

    official complaint to BIS

Limping anims would be really nice and a good replacement for a slow walk. Rainbow Six 3 (PC) did an excellent job on this. When mentioning the AA soldier's health after recieving shots, I didn't mean to add the health meter that appears on the HUD, I just meant that the soldiers in ArmA should be effected when wounded in others ways then just unsteady arms and the inability to walk (which are both good where they are). Of course AA didn't show any gore on a wounded soldier due to the risk of the mature rating boosting up one level. Instead, you'd see powder like puffs of red from every shot recieved.
