hmmm...that really makes me wonder.. It seems I find a solution... some of the files are not as located within the root direction (CA) as it has to be to become displayed on the models correctly. The issue above is caused by using the addons ca/buildings/hut01 -> hut06. I had to move the respective texturefiles into the needed folders. Does someone of you guys knows some similar issues? -

Isn´t it possible to create his own Texturefiles (the three paa files besides the RVMAT files in the Data Folder, I am just at work and cant remember the correct definition). It´s possible to open them in Photoshop, so isnt it possible to recreate own textures, like snow and / or other surfaces? -

Hey all, I am some kind confused. I worked with Visitor until the last verson has been released. All worked fine there, but now nothings happens anymore. I modified my config as I always did, but now there wont happen anythings. I cant get my map ingame, the Island wont be displayed in the list as well...I am so much confused. would you please check my config and see what went wrong please? There´s no errormessage appearing once the game has been started. But when I am adding mistakes to see what happens, the the engine will recognize my map (mistakes are caused in class world i.e), when I am removing those mistakes again so theres nor errormessage again but no Island selectable in the List... do you have any Ideas? By the way, there were much more topics in this forum which are related to Visitor, where have all theses topics gone, were the moved into a kind of Archive?

Yeah...that would help if I could get the DEM files as explained in the Forum you linked to. I did as he told in his Tutorial, but I have no possibility there to download the DEM files....The respective buttons wont appear...do you know why? Can you tell me please how to get the DEM files in Google Earth? Edit: Well, I think the DEM file function is no more supported in GE...may that be? Hes Posting in his Tutorial: I can do as much as I want to...no green buttons appears or any other thing happens...

Hey Crawler...I guess, I dont get it. I dl and inst. MD and ran it. So I opend Open DEM in MicroDEM. But once I selected openDEM I have to select a DEM file, but where shall I get it from, when I actually want to get it....

Hey guys a short Status report by myself. We are getting forward...slowlier as expected...but we ARE getting forward. The next Status information is close and I hope that I can tell you then that the translation process has finaly been finished. At the time most of the left parts are prepared. there are around 2 1/2 chapters left where some of the resp. contents still needs to be translated. Its a pretty hard work and I hope you dont mind it that we havent finished it yet. I keep you guys postet regards MemphisBelle

Hello Q, can you help me please with that trouble , posted above? I have really no clue how to become Textures visible ingame, in Buldozer all textures are visible, but ingame it says that the layers are not existing and the layers folder is not existing also in my Data folder after the import process has been finished succesful. -

Thanks so much for your support Q, you helpd me so much, cause now I know what I did wrong. And also thanks a lot for spending time to create an example on the C++ table. But I have a further unexpected problem what I havent had before...I thing its up to the new Version of Visitor 3. When I import the layers on the Island I have no layers folder in my Data folder, so there are no layers on the Island...can you tell me please how to import layers with the new Visitor version? -

Hmmm...no answer until today? So the cpp seems to be correct, doesnt it? I became several islands ingame and it worked fine every single time. But I have absolutely noe clue what happened here. I also checked all the steps while creating an Island...went over the config.cpp and tried to find an issue but I couldnt find anythings... The only thing whyt might be is that the new version of visitors doenst transfers the Island into a correct wrp file. Please help me and see whether I overlooked may be an important mistake... -
Hey guys, this is a new updatenews about the translation status. As you can see nearly all chapters are about to be finished now. They only need to get overworked again. You can also compare this update with the last one, which is still shown on page 5. removed due to release yesterday

Sorry, Lt.Kettch, but I personally can´t agree you. I played the mission several times (I got several versions as all the other BT does) and you might be right in some of your points...but not at all. But those points haven´t never been the reason for me not to play the mission. My personal experience in this case is that I need to find my own way (tactics) to accomplish the mission as it has to be to end the mission successfully. The player is also able to modify his gear once he entered the Chopper (including an AT weapon). I found enough enemy equipment in the progression of the mission which always keeps me fighting all enemy units/Vehicles. The very first ArmA Campaign really had a heavy skill, which was caused by the over powered AI. But I couldn´t and still can´t find the same situation here. By the way, I wouldnt let you post your "Guestpost" as well. They were right not to let you do this.....This is not an ironicle manner, this is a personal attack which was caused without any reason and even without any knowledge about the Games/missions contents... @all english languaged guys...you haven´t missed anything -

I found a further Issue: 5.45 - Generating units and objects Page 106: Right in the middle of the subchapter there´s a word still in german. The german word is: Einheitsbezogen and means using with units.

Hi. good Idea to get back into the game. At first the question whether you own either Queens Gambit or the ArmA Gold Edition. Thats why most of the servers are running 1.14 incl. Queens Gambit (is to be seen as resistance for OFP). Now to your questions. 1.) You cant play Multiplayer missions when your Patch is not the same as the Server/Host. You also are not able to do when some or on ly one Addon is missing. The best way to avoid those issues is to play with some of your friends or some of the Warefare servers. 2.) What system you are about to get? 3.) The same as quest. 1. No one can say whether the players on one of the public servers are providing teamwork. To play teamwork grao some guys/Friends and play a selfcreated mission . Thats the most secure way. 4.) get ingme and see your self. 5.) No, the Ranks will always get lost once you disconnected from a server. Thats ArmA, not Battlefield. If you want to use the Editor so just take a look into my signature. Regards MemphisBelle

I really have to agree Matt Rochelle. When I was testing the mission I was so much impressed about the missions contents and furthermore about the default ArmA possibilities. Remind, all what you´ll see here is pure ArmA. There were no Addons used in the mission. If I wouldnt know that Mr-Murray is a Community Member so I would say that he is the Chief Mission producer of Bohemia Interactive....:D Great work Mr-Murray.... Greets MemphisBelle -
I am using the Foxit Reader which is much more better than any version of the Adobe Collection. The reason is pretty simple. When I am using the guide while I am ingame so the Foxit reader doesn´t use as much of my PC´s Perfomance as the Adobe reader does. It supports all known functions like searching for textlines, searching for numbers, selecting text, making snapshots, adding notes and, and, and. Foxit reader is my personal favourite and I wont use the Adobe reader anymore. Download and test the Foxit Reader

Why searchable??... When the deluxe Edition has been released so you´ll find her at any known ArmA Fan Site...so you mustn´t search for it.
