Due to the fact that I'm a sucker for artillery I would like the following things in Arma: Observer called artillery - like what allready been made by The Chain Of Commands - that really rocked my world. Simply cant wait to see it in ArmA. Commander worked artillery - like commanding a M109 platoon and the platooncommander recives the coordinates (parameters) for the firesupport. (Most usable in MP). I remember the 2S19 made by Hawk fot OFP contained such feauture, but did'nt work that well - but I liked the idea. Anyone agrees? -or got the idea how to make this work? Â

Yeah I know - these are very fine scripts indeed - but reallife artillery are more my style - I got the idea of commanderdelivered from playing around whith various firesupport addons. I think WGL was the one who got closest to the concept...

Actually I think I'm gonna convert my own Remington 870. I really agree with Lockheed Martin$ch about the weapons - but since there's no shotguns in ArmA I'll do it... Oh - by the way I think I also are gonna convert my Wazaw Pact army symbols and markers once I get some time... Â -
So far so good! - But it seems that the fonts are all wrong, and when I shoot the D30, the whole gun flys - not the shell onlyÂ

I SO totally agree! No BMP 1, T80, T55, M2A2 ans M60 is a huge mistake - but keep in mind - the bmp2 was'nt in OFP until Red Hammer, so let's see what's in the first expantion pack to Arma... -
Yeah! This mission rocks as mutch as CTI did when it saw first daylight in OFP Â However - I tried playing as artillery spotter and it worked super until I died first time - then I could'nt call artellery anymore unless I sat next to my dead body. Have I done something wrong or is it this just the way it is? Â

I would like to give an addon the ability to hide under a custommade cammonet by the action menu. My UserAction looks like this: And this is my script And now my problems 1. After I've activaded cammonet.sqs I would like to remove it from the action menu - How do I do that in UserActions? 2. I would like the cammonet to appear EXACTLY over the addon, at the same spot every time - it's a towed addon so it appears different palces every time... Hope some one can help me...

I've downloaded both templates. The Airstrike works perfectly, so no more about that. Artillery for the west also works perfectly, BUT when I turn it 180dg and play as the east side I get this error message: Quite wiered when the very same script works perfectly for the westside.... -
Spend my hole youth assigned as Leo 1A5 DK crew, and I remembered spotting for enemies that way. The M60 - Chieftans ect. did properly use the same method - even the m1 early version I guess, so I can't see why we should'nt have that feuture - as a choice at least... WE SHOULD ALSO HAVE OUR TANK INTERIOUR BACK!! Â

I guess it was CSLA who made both T72 and M1s with only 1 AI even though there's room for the rest of the crew. How can I defne my addon in the config so it is only manned by the gunner at start - but with the ability to man it as commander as well?

Had the very same experience - but at the end the artillery comes automaticly over the enemy camp...

How Can I see what kind of MPGame are played whith. It semes that I can only see the servername and how many players. Like I've to pick severel random games in order to finally get the right one... Â
