    As nice as interiors are I don't think they're a big deal, mind you I like to play gunner where I'm staring down the sight 99% of the time if I'm doing my job properly and when driving its usually just easier to hit V and look through the slit.

    How hard would it be to implement your laser rangefinder script and LCD display to my BMD, and would it work in multiplayer? I'm going to try and do some small updates to keep it up to snuff with the other armored vehicles now that your stuff is out. Also if you have any statistics on the turret rotation/elevation speeds on the BMD/BMP-1 or just solid estimates I'd love to have them.

    That T-90 looks great! Hope it gets released as T-90 projects have had a habit of never coming out since the OFP days.

    Small update of BTR with material/normal maps and compatible with latest versions of ArmA, still no self shadows or new skins though as I'm not really in the mood for working on this. If you're willing to join the gaps in the model feel free to do it and send it to me and I"ll do the shadows and release the updated version. Download

    Those look pretty cool, I like the camo pattern too. They'll probably look quite nice once you get all the appropriate material,normal maps etc on them.

    If you're still interested in doing the SPG-9/BMP-1 sight I'm willing to give you my BMD-1 addon as a base to test out the optic/turret speeds/etc.As the gun, fcs, and turret are exactly the same as the BMP-1

    I think you shouldn't try to make too many features for it, just give it some ammo, correct turret rotation and elevation, better placed proxy and everyone will enjoy it ! Yes I'm going to release a simple version first so my friend can do the scripts. Right now just waiting on the optic with somewhat accurate ballistics so it is usable at range.

    I might, at that. That's also exactly the style of the BMP-1 optics -- I was looking for a photo of those. I could probably use my PSO-1 optics texture for 90% of that scope too, since they're both 4x optics. It makes sense that they're similar as they are both 73mm smoothbore guns with rocket assisted projectiles. Of course if you define the ballistics info for one I'd love to have it!     I'd like to finish it up but the main problem is the lack of detailed self shadows because the model is not closed properly.

    This would also be great for the AGS - DSHKM - M2 etc... Yeah its planned to add this script to several deployable weapons.

    It was a problem with a patch in ArmA and the vehicle was never updated.

    Weapon should be done fairly soon as its simple its really up to how complicated we want to do the scripting. I was also thinking of making it required to have a two man crew where a second man would drop the shells out of his inventory onto the ground and then he would have an add action to load a shell when standing beside the gun. This would make the weapon fairly realistic to use in multiplayer requiring a two man crew to deploy and man the weapon. But I will also include a simple single player version that is just deployed through the mission editor which reloads its self or the gunner reloads like a standard gun. Right now I am touching up some things, trying to dig up data on shell ballistics, and probably doing a realistic optic. If all goes well I'll have it realistically setup to the optic so the rangefinder and drop indicators work.

    Can anybody here or has anybody here extracted the unused SPG-9 recoiless rifle model from ArmA? If you haven't could someone? I'd greatly appreciate it as me and a few other people are starting up a small deployable recoiless rifle project. Files should be in weapons.pbo.
