The only way out of this "speech trouble" is to play the FDF Mod Isalnds without the rest of the mod.

Hmmm maybe, ok my fault. But the point didn`t changed. I love to fight as an FFL soldier.If they speak french, it would be ok. But they speak finnish, every troop on resistance side speaks finnish.

Am I realy the only one that is playing the FDF Mod that is having no knowledge of the finnish language?

I don`t want finnish soldiers to speak english. I could live with it, if they speak finnish. The point is, that every AI soldier, no matter if he is finnish ore french ore german, american ..............., and so on. EVERY AI unit is speaking finnish.

Now BIS is free to make "OFP2" like they want, and they can wait with the release until it`s realy ready for release.
What the hell (sorry) will Codemasters do with the rights on the name Operation Flashpoint 2? When they release such title with BIS was not involved, then we all know what they want to sell. And I don`t think that we want that game.
If Operation Flashpoint 2 is not developed by BIS, then the rights on the name are worth absolutely nothing.

They should use another name including OFP, Flashpoint or Operation. Armed Assault could realy lead into great confusion with AA can stand for Armed Assault as well as for Americas Army.
Anyway. However the name is, I want to buy it now.

By the way: FDF is the best ever made full conversion mod for OFP! Excellent, also of course with finnish voices!
Best Mod ever: Agreed.
With finnish voices: Shure, when you understand finnish.
I would understand martian language as much as finnish.
(/§=$/!%!(§=$Z&"&!) I know this is making no sense, but that`s the same as finnish speech to me.

Joa mei, is denn schon wieder Weihnachten.
An expansion pack with new engine is exactly that what I wanted.
It`s like Xmas, to get a new OFP engine before OFP2. That`s what I dreamed of.

I don`t know if this is answered before, but it is possible to switch the AI speech from finnish to english? If this would be possible I would be a new, pleased "costumer".

If I rename the voice folder the AI is "speechless". This is only one, but a very anoying problem too. I like the FDF Mod, but I totally dislike the fact that the AI is bound to finnish voices.

I can understand their point of view to. But my point of view is, why must I accept that every AI Unit is speaking a language I don`t understand? That can`t be it.

Sooo, es geht doch. Oh, I meant, it`s working. All FDF Islands without the FDF Mod. Don`t ask how, I wan`t tell noone how it works to not get into trouble with the FDF Mod people.

I dont want to read subtitles, I can hear. That`s no offence to deaf people. In field I don`t use my pager when I want to know what a man 2 meters away is doing.

This may work when you play online only. I speak english per default but my AI teammates speak finnish per default. Is there a way to change this?

I don`t care that much about this early sreenshots. We have one year until armed assault will be released. They will invest much work in it until then. The only thing that count is the quality of the final produkt, and I`m pretty shure that it will look phantastic.

Yep. I see no problem by myself. I don`t plan to release anything. No missions, no Islands. I use this only for me and I don`t rip anything in part.

The FDF Mod is very nice. Good work mates.
But I dont understand Finnish language, not a bit. Everytime I start the FDF Mod, I have no idea what the hell the AI is talking about. Even when I play with american soldier models, everyone is speaking Finnish.
This is the only thing I don`t like in your mod. But if I don`t understand what my team is saying, how should I play this mod.

I know that it is possible to use the FDF Islands without the FDF Mod. Can anyone tell me wich files are needed to run the Islands.

Ok. The Isalnds are working now, but Al Madajah will not work without the FDF Mod.

Thank you, I got nearly scared to death.
It must be an other addon, I deleted the destroyer pbo but the logo is still there. But it`s good to know that this problem is addon, and not fade related.

in ARMA - GENERAL

AA will be much cheaper than VBS1. It will give us an improved engine, with better grafik. It will run smother with higher settings than we use today in OFP\RES. It will be worth to buy it. But I hope for an expansion version for all that have OFP\RES. Not only an stand alone version, if this will be a fullprice product. I´m not realy willing to pay 50 euros for that.
