I don`t think we glorifying War. Flashpoint is nearly a Anti War Game imo. OFP is much realistic and show every Player that he can easely get killed in an armed conflict. It don`t matter if you are hi skilled or not, SF Guy or normal Soldier. If you go to War, there is a high chance that you don`t come back.

Good to hear, that work goes on. BTW it`s a shame, that whenever someone leaving a Mod Team, or there is nothing new for a few Days, the first voices came up saying "this is dead". The Addon and Modmakers have their real Lives and what they do for us is just a hobby.

I personaly use EAST/BAS/Militia units for that. Maybe not perfect, but it works very well.

Hi, this is going to get weird. It`s 1 Copy per Computer. Using the same Copy on another Computer with hacked ID or serial is ILLEGAL.

When a battle takes place in an area with towns, there will be fighting in the towns to. Fighting in towns = CQB. It MUST be implementet in OFP2. OFP Resistance is close to reality,but when you move into a town, with your AI squadmates by youre side, this illusion is gone.

I´m user of a GeForce FX5900XT with 128MB it support AGP 8x.I have tested Far Cry Demo, and it runs without lag with high settings. Flashpoint is running equal as with my old GeForce4 TI4200. This vid card is cheap by now. But you should try to get an GeForce FX 6 Series card. Sorry for my english.

When you run OFP without swapfile, you will get an ctd and an error message saying somthing like "out of virtuel Memory"

You can use the FDFmod shortcut that should be created during install, or edit your shortcut so it look like: D:\Programme\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\FLASHPOINTBETA.EXE -nosplash -mod=finmod

It looks like you use other Mod`s beside FDF.Mod`s with own config`s are incompatible to each other.

There is only one thing you can use this program for. Run a benchmark before you update your Hardware,save the results and run the benchmark after the hardware update.Now you can compare the new results with the older ones.But I think for most of us 3DMARK03 is "more compatible".And don`t only compre the score, there is a detailed listing of the results of every test performed by the program.You can also try different settings,in BIOS for example,and look what efect this will have for youre system performance.

This Russia invading Europe stuff reminds me at a Book i read some time ago. It was Red Storm Rising by Tom Clancy. By reading this Book you cane become an Idea of what a total "conventional" War would mean.If Flashpoint 2 will bring that "thrill" as it is in that Story,than it will be a gaming experience never seen before.
