What joystick do you have, was there any software delivered with it?

The problem isn`t the printing of sarcastic cartoons, it`s that radicals wait for any chance to escalate the situation. If would act like them, no god would be able to help them out. How many people was taken hostage, how many of them get killed in the name of islam? If we would be so radical like them, we would let the big guns speak. So it`s good for them, that we keep kalm.

For original weapon sounds watch videos that was recorded in iraq. Most of them can`t be used as a source for sound mods ( bad quality), but it will give you an idea how it should sound.

I have an strange sound problem with the VME mod. Assault rifles sounds like tank guns, tank guns have an strange sound too.

I didn`t voted, nothing fit my opinion. I´ll stay with AMD. My next system, whenever i build it, will have an AMD Processor (maybe more than one). I´m using Windows 2000 Professional with SP3, when the first open Beta of Windows Vista is available, i will try it. I have no plan to buy an Mac somewhere in the future. The same goes for WinXP, i`ll never use it. Edit: Why should Apple be the dark side?

Please post more hardware information. At this point i think the problem could be driver related.

I backup my files to DVD, my last backup session took 10 DVD`s. 250mb are not enough, not nearly.

That`s working like the X-FI soundchip from Creative. A sound from behind sounds different than a sound that is in front of you. Based on that, you can produce real surround sound with an ordinary stereo headphone.

I dont know why some people get so much lag. The map is working fine for me, with many infantry and single jeep patrols in the city. My PC: AMD AthlonXP 3200+, 2x512MB DDR400Ram @ Dualchannel, GeForce 6600GT with 128MB Ram. My resolution 1920x1200@72Hz. Viewdistance is 1200 meters minimum or higher for flying, terraindetail normal, other settings high.

I think you have to change the refresh rate, to make the screen fill youre monitor. If that don`t work, you have to change youre monitor settings.

What Joystick do you use?

I double that, my Saitek X52 is the best Joystick i ever had. It has no Force Feedback, but is so superprecise that non other Joystick can beat this.

@ wheitmann Do you use modfolders to precent OFP from loading unused addons?

The GeForce4 MX generation is not the fastest, another 512MB RAM would help too. I had a GeForce 4MX myself, after upgrading to an GeForce4 TI4200 OFP worked much better.

Yea, and if you get errors don`t forget that you overclocked your hardware.

Saitek X52 works fine too.
