By using that bug we can get working LCAC`s, that can make higher speed over land. The LCAC`s we have in OFP\Res, having a problem with the reachable speed over land.

Yea, AI often too good vs. human player. But also often too dumb, to drive a vehicle down the road. Many bugs i`ve noticed after installation are gone, with the patch to v.1.01.

Special Forces are ordered to take a little village. In full daylight they move upright in line formation up the road, like they have no idea what "cover" means. A few moments later, 4 SF teams down. Shut down by some grunts with guns.

I don`t know what went wrong with the heli controls, but they need to be reworked. The Cobra fly`s not that good, but the handling of the mh6 is horrible. That all can be fixed with a patch, not a big problem. It`s "only" reworking some values.

Morphicon postet on theire forum, we have located the problem and working on a solution. If they have posted, we have located the problem and BIS is working on the hotfix, than i would have known that we`ll get the patch very fast. That`s the best support we can get. Thank you BIS.

Arma worked good before patching to 1.1. Now it runs even better. I think i did right to pick a new videocard with 512MB RAM, instead of 256MB.
-
My Arma arrived today. I have the German version without the lower framerates. When Arma is loaded, my DVD drive isn`t running. Maybe that bug is somewhat related to WinXP, or SP2 perhaps. I´m still using Win2K Professional with SP3.
-
Got mail from Amazon.de, my Arma is on the way. 100% shure that i get it before the weekend.
-
Egosoft has released an patch/addon for X3 this month. That patch disables the Starforce copy protection of X3. Impossible is nothing.
-
Atleast i have to DVD drives in my system to try out.
-
If it is the fault Securom, than there is something wrong. It must be a bug, and i hope that Morphicon will release a patch (very fast). Edit: It may be that Securom have problems with some DVD drives, especialy DVD Writers.

I don`t think Securom is the problem for bad performance.

Hello, why don`t you use this Thread.?
-
@GaX Try the MS Flightsimulator 2004 with 100% realism settings, than you`ll se how a chopper react on engine torque, wind and weather. It`s out there for a few € or buck`s. When i fly, i take my Saitek X52 to contol the aircraft or heli i`m flying. How to fly properly must be learned. In about one week i`ll get Arma. When all goes well i can record a flight with my "good old" VHS system. I don`t want fraps to slow down my system, when i record a video.
-
Maybe people should start to realise, that you can`t control a chopper with the digital inputs from an keyboard, ore with the mouse. That is what analogue flight control systems are made for.
-
Download started, will take 50min to finish. Edit: Still watching, but great video. Thank you.
-
"Best bang for you`re buck`s" Yes, that`s why i took the GS instead of an GT. Only 149.95€ for that card fits my budget very well, as xmas is not for away. btw, the GS is only limited by GPU clockspeed, all other features are the same as the GT ones. The GT with 256MB would cost me about 50€ more.
-
BIS will not let us alone without patches. That is not what BIS is known for. Have you noticed, how active the dev`s are in this forum?
-
One week left, than i`ll know how Arma works on my system.
-
Keep in mind that Vista isn`t final right now. The newest versions are release candidates, the drivers aren`t final too.
-
Here you go, @ Amazon.com.
-
Damn, you nearly give me a heartattack. I ordered a MSI GeForce 7600GS with 512MB yesterday. I hope there will be no problems in Arma, related to that card.

A few minutes ago i stopped a session with MS Flightsimulator 9. That`s what i take when i realy whant to fly.
