On the topic of explosion effects. Would it realy be worth the while for the addon creator to make this effect as so many mods have there own and also there's ECP, Flash FX just to name two. I would however like to see the turret popping off effect mentioned by txemtp2004, that does sound like quite a nice effect.

I asked TeRpEnTiN about this on the BWmod forums a while back and he even sent me a fixed version but unfortunatly there was one major problem. The addon would cause a CTD whenever the player or AI fired the main weapon making it relativley useless  . He did say that he would look into it but they've been busy with other more important projects as we all know. Very nice tank though and it goes well with the rest of the more updated addons. And where's the second present  . I checked your web site and when i saw your news post i nearly pissed myself because i thought your new soldier models and weapons where ready for download. Until i realised it was a news flash not a release  . But any news from you guys is a bonus considering the high quality addons you've given us this past year. I just can't wait till the new year and a new begining for OFP with Armed assault just round the corner things couldn't get much better  . So from me and undoubtably the rest of this fantastic community i wish you all a very merry xmas and a fantastic new year Â

@Crassus I too had this problem but never figured out how to impliment it.

On the sound issue i believe it can also be the a user made addon that causes a problem. I set up a test on Nogova where i placed a Bell (martins) helicopter on the northern island airstrip and i placed myself on the south west airstrip. I could hear the helicopter start its engine like i was standing right next to it. I think the OFrP weapons had this problem at first, where you could hear them at full volume when they where miles away. I have an audigy 1 sound card..

The only differnance i can see very clearly is the front, but i'm certainly no expert when it comes to differant varients. On a personal note however i would prefer the barrel to be coloured like it is in the real picture, mostly sand coloured. Thats just my preferance however and you may disregard it at your will Â

I'll celebrate by buying a 12 pack of beer and then i'll tie and gag my wife up so i can have a whole day to enjoy it without her nagging, "Don't you think you've been on there long enough today". I could give her an all expenses trip out to london i suppose but i'm not made of money... . Come to think of it, i could start an argument with her so she could leave me..now that's an idea

I totally agree as i'm addicted to this game also. I mean why else would i part with nearly Å400 just to have VBS1......I still play the game a hell of a lot but i also continue to check the forums for any scrap of news.....I'm absolutley hooked..My only concern is that i can't offer this brilliant community anything except the odd mission now and again. I just havn't got the talent to make addons.

What i'd like to know is that if NO info has been issued how does he know for sure it's been cancelled. I think he's just speculating as he's not used to the waiting times some companies put us people through. He's impatiant because he needs constant updates and pictures to feed his tiny mind. So to make himself feel better he starts to spread his "bad vibes" through the rest of the community, fishing for anybody with the same insanely innacurate views. Hes called himself "fooled" because thats what he's trying to do to us....

Maybe not, but at least the registered members would get a sneak preview and maybe your membership would double. I was only trying to boost PUKF poularity by suggesting a kind of "carrot on a stick" method of getting more members. ps: if you believe that you believe anything

I wonder why the guys at PUKF don't offer further teasers and maybe more info on there site for registered members. Just a thought

Sorry for the offtopic but i've a tale to tell about Nicosia. I was there in the early 90s and while drinking in a bar in the Cypriot side i fancied a shit, but there was one small problem. i had to ask this gorgeous barmaid for the toilet paper as they kept it behind the bar. Suffice to say i didn't try to chat her up afterwards . And i thought the Turkish side was supposed to be the underdeveloped one
