As you might know Lester of our 3DE team did the new EU Update. Actual we are talking about to make  "additional content" to the EU or will bring themesrelated additional EU upgrades like "EU Stones upgrade" as sample.But this hits only the mapfact 3DE activitys. With the possibiltys of 3DE the demand of mostly static objects are also gets more increased. I write a similar post times before the relase of 3DE and now it should be clear for most of you, what the post about more statics means. Isn´t so funny to make a market place table with only bottle´s on it. Lesters README should show things like naming conventions, icons, groups and so on. So if you are thinking about to do also your own things like that, this should be a place to show and discuss about it, and  to have  a "little standard" when we are talking about. So if there are people out there who want to be a "Rob supporter" and give him more to play in his sandbox, let us know and talk about possibiltys here. IN SHORT WORDS WE NEED MORE STATICS sincerly MCPXXL

Additional to Silolas post If posting erros, check that you ONLY use @mapfact and your specific island ! No other addons should be used at this time because possible conficts with other addons could be happend. After a time you can add additional addons and play around with them ;-) THX

@gsleighter With or without an error i was thinking the same BUT Lester reminds me to try out this idea while having bad weather ;-) Would look ugly ...

We forgot the following to say 1.)Please do not post an Antivirus error BEFORE you read the whole posts here in this topic. 2.) A minimum of computerskill is needed to fix a NORMAL related Antivirus or better security program. (If not read all posts again) or look at the support site of your antivirus please ! @Shadow_Spyder does the same We do not have the time to think whole the time about those x thousends of AV;Firewall;SECURE-Systems and solve  their possible blockings.

@Stavenger Please add map_services ! Most of the errors come by using the old version Emmi alias MCPXXL

1.) do changes on the island 2.) save as sqm 3.) do a clear mission on the same island in the normal editor and save it. 4.) take the project.sqm file from the armaext folder and put it into the clear normal editor mission and overwrite the old mission with project.sqm into mission.sqm 5.) merge in editor both missions woila ;-) But should be explained in the readme so far

could only be a problem on your rig because some servers are running the mission. we are also in contact with norrin to bring in the newest revive script.

Oh my good I have also lying aroud a trackir but i never used it for editing :-) I will try to find this BUG but Silola hasn´t a Trackir so it mayby take some time. First at all there is no Trackir Support in 3DE

Hey mate Armaext has to be placed into the arma root folder seems that you have edited the batch The only thing you should be change are the normal startup parameter not the first part of the batch armaext always start the arma.exe automaticly from one directory higher DO NOT CHANGE THIS ! run "..\arma.exe" -mod=DBE1;@mapfact after this your normal startparams like -nospash or the profile thing

@Talyn Be sure to get ALL needed addons and keep in mind map_services is also changed. Ah and if you want to use the bank pitch option you need to load the 3de addon in your mission because it uses funktion of it. I think but i will clear that with Silola

your system stops or kills the run.exe i think Some systems block without a message

_XENO_ is right You have to use the run.bat from the armaext folder in the arma root directory in every case ! Do not run a launcher or such else Armaext will ONLY run from its folder !

Sorry didn´t get your email fast enough or in other words i didn´t see it because in workshop whole the time. This is from course running since 22:30 cest But if it is wanted we will make additional workshops With Synide Norrin and other useres

SFG you should be read the manual FIRST

you have to put the armaext folder into your arma root folder and do not start it from any other place ! you need to use the bat from this arma ext folder otherwise it failed.

@kristian Please check if there is a file named run.exe or it was killed bei your security software @Xeno don´t ask --> Silola As i so often posted --> things will radical change now

please try once more 3de_map should be fixed now
