I often see that people cannot install some addons correctly ! Here and now...  once more a "LAW" Dear MODDERS and INSTALLERS ! The BIS addons folder is a FORBIDDEN PLACE". There is no need to put any additional pbo into the original addons Folder ! As you can see there are a lot of @addons on the "market" .... So please be so kind and use your mods like this ones and it will help a lot. In these @addons folder you can put your filestructure like in the whole BIS Root folder as sample: @mapfact   addons    map_misc.pbo You can do a lot more of this things but i do not want you make you confused. And please do not say i do that since years and have no probs because it maybe ... and others do install their Arma again and again from scratch because they do not know what they have done with overwriting needed files. sincerly MCPXXL

I will not discuss any kind of "thats not needed" in any threat because the FAKT of "Playing with fun" is for everyone different. Sure ANY of my ideas should be "disable" per param in the init ! @Norrin My Idea of spawn points was... You have a number of Spawnpoints, all of them under Start_west. Then in your mission the mission designer can move them in situations like a camp is reconquered. So long as it is in your hand this respawn marker is moved to this position.Is it back in enemy hand the marker would be back under yout start_west marker. I think moving the body around on the place you died, is not so fine because "some times" the people self moved into this bad position and will have so an easy optinon to get out of the fireline without learning something. Teammates could say "aeh no ! wait and then move out i will not help you" Once more the respawn system should help to get more teamplay NOT to make it easier for Rambos. When it is so bad he can choose to respawn at start_west base and take the long way back into the battle i mean.

Good to hear This additional thing is also a good teamfunktion If someone looked only for himself he would get a problem if he dies next time.So more social you are so more others people will help you if you in trouble. We had it implemented with ofp mappafct_resp 2 and there a lot of Situations of discussions about "who them them shall now review as next" to get all players as long as possible in the game. At every successfull review there was a message "x reviews to get one additional resp added" And no this is not to make a game like Battlefield ;-) You have an Endless Resp and it is on your own to use it or not

We tested it yesterday and got no Errors so far Some ideas: Would be find to have ALL params in the init 1.) Number of Respawns 2.) Type of reviewer ADDITIONAL 3.) Time to initiate the Respawn Button like 180 Seconds as Sample 4.) "Don´t hit me" More spawn point´s then like in other Games ak BF Series. So if some aeras are reconqured by your troup the corrosponding spawn point there would be "open" for use. 5.) Reducing Number of Resps by teamkill/+civiliankill but this can be done if there is a part for teamkill in 6.) Adding bonus "resp" by making more then 3 reviews 7.) Gettining an option to go into Kegs Spectating after all Resps are gone. Would be fine to have that for today 16:00 o´clock European time LoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooL Anyway FINE Job done so far !

Not evry dry ground is light sand brown (Lanzarote Cyprus as Sample) So we (Lester) decided to use a different darker Colour. And not every Island should be look equal we think. So now there are three kind of it: Darker   Lester`s Medium  MC_Nools´s Light   Orcan Web´s -

I hosted "Enduring Freedom" from Softegg on our ASC Server We did some talks about it and i never touched something of it. Then he was gone "without a trace"... and the only thing i coult do was deleting it unseen after 3 years... Some of his ideas would be cool today i think

@Raptor Read as many posts as you wish, about released addons and you will see what i mean ;-) Simply in map_misc threat are  many many of errors commited because wrong or mixed addons in the root one. As Sample put Vilas and some other addons like map_misc right into your addon folder. @MAD For me it is LAW and I have never problems with PATCHING the game or searching hours whay something is going strange because i simply disable the MODS and find so errors in fighting mods very fast. If you go the other way your search beginns ... How many @Addons you make is on your own, but please do minimum one and keep the BIS addon folder clear. And more ADDON creators PLEASE do not say put this in your Root Addons folder.(Simply ask for help to do it in an @addons folder) I think there are many people who will help. Think about the next patch

And then the things like "kegs Arma launcher" getting much more sense because simply a click and you start with different mods for different servers  you define once all your @Addons like @mapfact;@faf_Sounds and so on and then can enable disable it by a click. choose your servers and the corrosponding @addons @MadDogX Just kidding... Use everytime a new Folder ! or mix but ONLY if you 100% know that there are no conflicts ! My Arma root looks like this: @MAPFACT @FAD_SOUNDS @GL2 @ISLANDS @ACE_EVERON (As long as we test things on it... it runs in its own folder) @voice_quit @test (all small pbo that do not make trouble with outhers)

Blood effects from ECP conversion

There are Blood Effects in MAP_MISC Â But only drops and not from direction of hit. -
Would be fine to see something usable from this ;-) If there is any chance to combine these two projects or getting help from crazy people to this editor could bring us a thing "likly" the VBS RTE and for me this woul be better then every EXTRA Content to be come from the creators since yet. But by the way this Editor is on the right way !

This is a fine job you have done ! Addons are no prob for me MAP_AIR FDF_SOUNDS All Sara-DRY-Islands And i have no CDT´s flying half an hour trough the Hils :-) Think there are some Helo Dogfights to go next time ;-) PS: We need i "climb booster" for our Helos because the only thing that crashed here are: ähm SOME Apaches

He does not steal anything ... he fixed something and give it back ! No release of a new island and no new credits or something else. Your thing does a lot of rpt entrys and this is not good for the performance Not on clients and also not on servers Sometimes i realy wonder why people do not use the rpt-entrys to check their work. Both of you did a fine job and he would only be help you i think
