Sorry, can't answer this question. I'm visiting this forum (regular) for about 4 month only. But i think there isn't as much flaming and misbehaving like this threat let you think off. Especially after i visited some other forums (OFP and other games like CS) i can't barely understand the "anger"(?) of some members. I can understand that it is not very nice to release an addon or mod and to receive the one or other useless, unconstructive or just stupid answer. But are there really so much of them? I think the most of them are just thankfull answers or constuctive bug-reports. So why to make such a BIG thing about this 1% of them? I don't know a way to stop them doing this except banning them (but is this the right way?). Perhaps you know one ... The "Flaming-Stamp" is a nice idea ... but i don't think the flammers will care about that. On the contrary it will just give them a reason to flame more and more (if they are as "childish" as i think) ...i'll stop now ... things like that were written about 20 times in this post ... this will just end in a "cul-de-sac" Mfg MEDICUS PS: Sorry for my english Â

I have about 25 different categorys in my editor ... little bit confusing  @Colonel_Klink: Would it be possible to make the "Mast-Lights" inflameable in the next version? They are too nice for not being used by night. (I think some more lights would be cool anyway. There is only the "big" frontlight. Hmmm .... did u ever play a CTI-Game? here you have lots of small operations in one game. The enemy will only get the "enemy has conquered ..."-message if he had conquered this town befor ... kind of realistic i think. Normaly you'll know if the enemy conqueres your town. Â Afaik there are "Factorys" and "Barracks" where u can built and train units. There are between 7 and 9 Players on each side ... each player can "hire" a whole group (11 AIs), so there are about 216 units fighting on the island ....

Was just interested and visited a "CS-Forum" yesterday .... and you won't belive what's going on there. What i've read there is what i would call a "BAD BEHAVIOUR"! I think that's kind of childish, too. But perhaps it will work. And i think the main problem will be, that this "12 YEAR OLD ANTI-ADDON WHINER" will give a **** on that. That's my assessment. Yeah ... or one for "covered operations" ... with a radar, some nice comunication-systems   perhaps a small SAM-Site or Anit-Ship-Mines (looking to the new boats comming up like USS Nimitz, the russian Submarine and so on)

Hmmm ... I think that's not the truth! Everyone (or almost everyone) here or in the community takes his part. The one make models, textures or whole addons, the others missions, tutorials or just try to help. I think, that there is no one who is more important than someone else (exept suma ... he's the BIG MAN Â ) About the community: OFP is the first game, i started to play in multiplayer (yes ... fell free to call me a noob ). I never played games like CS or Ultima Online. So i've never been part of a communty like that (I hope tat i'm allowed to say that I feel as part of this community). Never have been in a CS-Forum or something else.... And i have to say, that i feel really comfortable here (in this forum and the whole communty). Here, in this forum, there will always be someone who trys to help you at anytime if you need it. You get good informations about questions on editing, scripting, modeling etc. And it's the same in some other forums, Mapfact.net for example. So all in all i would give a **** on the guys which can't appreciate your work. It's kind of unfair to blame all for the bad behaviour of some childish ones. We should all be "old enough" to be able to ignore this 1%(?). Mfg MEDICUS

Hmm, it's the way benu wrote. Sometimes we even have to "lock" the server, cause there are too much players joining (we use 1.95 ... the 1.96b-LinuxPatch isn't available yet). In my opinion it's always better tp patch to a bug-fixed version than to us an "older" one (which perhaps more players are using) that still has some bugs. I see. For us, patching is really easy. Our server-admin (benu) just run the patch.exe ... and there we go. Patching by the provider ... argh ... Â
