yay, a solution for that prob would be great. had the same and played with the settings a bit, but that just messed everything up. can't even start o2 anymore

I got a weird lightning bug on my HESCO objects. does anyone know how to solve this problem? I am using Oxygen O2 from OFP to make models... i did a search but couldn't find a topic with the same issue... thanks so far

hi 5133p39, just a quick question. is there a parameter in the yomie scripts where i can influence the range that determines the yomies "food detection"? I want them to detect the player a little bit earlier, because that would give the yomie attacks a bit more tension when they suddenly come around a house corner or something atm i have to run right by the yomies till they attack me. thx!

after 400min Evolution on the GNC server two days ago, without any crashes I must say, i love the new 1.11 patch. 1.09 or 1.08 always CTD after about 2h, but now i could play smoothly and fine without any problems at all. great work BIS, please make this patch a final version soon, so all ppl use it. of course with some bugfixes here and there

There's the problem. It should be: Notice the word 'beta' appears in two places there. alright, i tried that now, but now i get this error: C:\Program files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\beta\IFC22.DLL is no windows file. i got this IFC22.dll in both beta folder and in the Arma directory! thanks very much so far for your help!

Good morning to y'all i am sitting here at my brothers house and tried to install the 1.11 patch on his machine but each time we try to run arma we get this error: we upgraded from 1.08 to 1.11, so no 1.09. his specs are: ATI Radeon X1950XTX Intel Core 2 2,4 GhZ 2GB Ram but over at my house i had no problems installing and running Arma with the 1.11 patch. we are running his Arma with the parameters: "C:\Program files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\arma.exe" -mod=beta -nosplash and yes, we did a quick search through the forums thx in advance maatz

hello guys. i just wanted to let you know, that i am still alive somehow and got a new pc, so i can finally play ArmA. and the other thing is, i can continue to work on my HESCO objects. but i do need some help in making or better said implementing normal maps or bump maps or whatever and maybe making custom editor icons, because i con't get an alpha channel to work... here's what i got so far. the HESCO barriers also come in green "paint". thanks to Pauliesss for support and beta testing so far. you rock mate as you can see, the pack will not only be full of HESCO stuff but also other things you can find in iraq, afghanistan etc... hope you like it so far! greetings maatz

For the price of Q6600 you can have E6850. ArmA, like most games uses only one core, so basically it is the matter of 2,4GHZ vs 3GHz CPU. If you don't plan to use some graphics design or mathematics software - higher clocked dual core is better choice. but i'll need a quadcore for my academic studies anyway, so it just comes in handy

thank you for the information mate! i ordered my rig also with Quad core and was tending to get two 8800GT cards, but now i will first stay with one for ArmA. Thanks for the information you deliviered. was quite important for me!

sure we know it ;-) it was first included in the Lizardia island for vbs in the terrain pack 3 and now we've got it in QG. nice minaret though... but what's the point of this thread mate!?

thanks, that fixed the issue. but now the new texture is much darker than the original one!?

well, i tried it with recaclulate normals, but the error is still there... but if I add normal maps to the obejct, the strange lightning disappears left with the normals (makes the texture darker, somehow?) and to the right without, but with the lightning thingy...
