    Terrain detail

Hi there, I just have a quick question concerning the Video option called 'Terrain detail'. My situation is the following: until recently I had a crappy TNT2 16mb graphics card, but now I have bought a nice GeForce4 64mb. I will not ba able to use it until I get home in a week, but I am very curious as to the 'Terrain detail' option. After installing a better graphics card, will I also be able to tune up my terrain detail? Or does this have nothing to do with graphics? What exactly does it mean anyhow?

    Terrain detail

But can I put it on a higher setting if I have a new graphics card or is it just about CPU?

    Savegame

I've never seen anything like that before anywhere. But why would you want to do that? The BIS guys have put so much excellent work into the Resistance campaign, so you could at least play all the missions. Alternatively you could just get UnPBO and copy out some missions from the campaign, like I did. (woops. Did I really say that?)

    Multiple animations

Animations can also be triggered from outside the action menu using script. Say you want landing gear to retract: this Animate ["landingGear", 1] whereby "landingGear" would be the name of the animation you defined in 'class Animations' in your config.cpp. And by the way: if you want to see what animation can do, go here and click on 'get it'. This is an addon and a small test mission I made for my own Stargate mod. But be very patient when running the mission, as the Stargate takes a while to dial in...

    Map filename convention

I have just taken the time to read this entire thread and I have come to the following conclusion: - no spaces between [type] and [@] or [max players] ie.: c&h24 or c&h@24 instead of c&h 24 or c&h @ 24 - leave the & My whole idea would be to devide the mission name into three groups: tag, name and map.pbo all separated by a space. Adding extra space in the tag would just be confusing. Here are a few examples: c&h@24 king of the hill v1.eden.pbo c&h @ 24 king of the hill v1.eden.pbo in my opinion the first "block" should be the tag. So no spaces in the tag!
