I have a feeling that you are doing something wrong now. 112 RSKES Apilas works fine (atleast for me?) if you arm yourself the weapon from the crate and also pick up one 112 ammo too. After this you have to reload and fire. Just tested this with several different units. And if it does not work, it certainly isn't a planned feature

Doesn't that look a bit too familiar to me or what.. Just like I'd seen it before? Wait! Here it is, in my model: I can remember all the layers in those textures and all the polygons in that model, and I can swear that your picture is taken from my model. I only ask this politely once: please, stop using our team's models without permission. And for that permission - after this it might be hard to get. -

Nothing like that, 3rd person works fine for me. But in takeoff, you might consider taking more speed before pulling back like said in previous posts. It might be a small bug but currently it's an OFP Engine feature that we can't fix or alter.

FDF WW2 EXPANSION The FDF team is working on WW2 Expansion which concentrates on combat in the Finnish frontiers from 1939 to 1945. Three separate conflicts are included: The Winter War (39-40), the Continuation War (41-44) and the Lapland War (44-45). Our focus is primarily on the Continuation War and the fierce decisive defense battles fought in the summer of 1944. Supported by a Sturmgeschutz 40 G and equipped with a Panzerschreck, Finnish infantry is prepared for the inevitable Soviet assault in June 1944 after years spent in trench warfare. This would belong to the real 1.3 topic, but anyway: All planes in FDFMOD, and also in WW2 expansion, are mainly made for mouse&keyboard controlling and that's it. And no, we will not make them for "optimized" for joysticks, I don't even have a joystick. And for MIG, blaim Kege, which I think doesn't help much.

Negative, this is just an expansion that will reach the original timeline of FDFMOD, from 1939 to current date. So no new GUI or anything.

WW2 Expansion will follow the original modification so Finns are Resistance and Soviets in East side. If mission makers want to use Soviet WW2 addons they have to manually change side from mission.sqm. And for the campaigns: Finnish police holds our second campaign part as EiZei already stated. And I apology if the news gave you wrong idea - no bigger campaigns even planned yet for WW2, we can't even find mission makers for original campaign!

That's why internal testing is nice. After you've got all the bugs away, free it to some mission makers and then release.

Not many understand that we wan't to stay as once piece so that everyone can just download our modification and join the game. This can't be achieved by breaking our modification up to different parts, one official and few modified by someone else. When 100 different players want to do their own modifications of our mod it is kinda obvious we have to be a grumpy bunch of guys - what ever it means. We can support other modifications, but we are not helping to break our cause. And that's how I mean this fights against us. Not a competition, but it fights against our policy to stay unite. As I said we can possibly include this feature to our modification.

I agree that this is a big leap for OFP animations, but it fights against our modification and even if it is "one of the most inovative things ever released for OFP" it still does not justify to force it to FDF. But in future we can always maintain the option to implement this feature to our next release.

I don't buy your idea and our servers will always run only real FDF versions. Weather we decide to implement this feature to our modification is up to us. As long as our modification doesn't include this feature I'll think this config is a false one.

I spent few minutes testing your modification for OUR modification this morning and all I can say is.. shit. This thing gives us tons of problems. First of all I want to remind you that you were NOT authorized to release any modification for our config and the reason is very very simple: Your modification will crash every damn normal server. We do still play much online and so does many many other FDF players. It's not nice when you finally get into a game of over 20 people and ONE or possibly even two has your modification, he presses left and sprint - BANG server goes down and won't rise until admin lifts it up. I hope some of you can now understand us and why we don't want anyone to modify our modification without our permission. But now that the damage has already been done I'd like you to solve this problem: how do you prevent FDF servers from crashing?

Dedicated servers crash if the size ratio is too small in some texture. Resizing texture to 256*32 or 256*64 should work.

Just place the model to right place in every LOD by hand and it should work. Use existing models to help finding that right spot.
