Track IR 4 not working by default

I know this has already been mentioned several times, but making sure I was running Track IR & ARMA2 "administrator mode" fixed my problems. I'm not 100% happy with it yet though... my head is moving around way too much in infantry mode which is making aiming really awkward. I'm tweaking my Track IR profile to see if I can make a suitable setup - I need a bigger dead zone or something. I have also noticed that my head (in game) will sometimes get stuck if I turn it too far - recentering using F12 fixes it, so I'm sure it is a Track IR issue and not ARMA2. Anyway, if anyone is using a custom profile for ARMA2 I would love to see a screenshot of your "Gauges". The default ones just arent working out for me.
  2. The mission editor loads fine, but none of the menus show up when I click on them. i.e. I click on "Units (F1)" and it highlights, but nothing happens. Using F1-F7 on my keyboard also does not make a difference... I can't drop anything on the map. Note: I just finished downloading ArmA 2 from Steam today, and have successfully played through some of the "Boot Camp" missions without any issues. I'm hoping I'm just being a retard and am simply doing something wrong. My System: Core2Duo e6600 @ 2.4GHz 2GB RAM eVGA nVidia 8800GTX Vista Ultimate 32-bit (all the latest updates) TrackIR 4 Logitec G15 Keyboard ---------- Post added at 11:14 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:06 AM ---------- I guess you have to double click on the map to make the menu appear... :icon_redface: Great game btw!

1.07 beta 8800 GTX texture bug

Excellent, that did indeed fix the problem. Â I kept my "very high" texture setting and it still works great. Perhaps a little for all the nvidia/8800 haters is in order.

1.07 beta 8800 GTX texture bug

I've been playing the sprocket version of 1.05 for a couple of months without any texture problems at all. I use an 8800GTX and Vista 32-bit. Since I love the game and I want to support BIS as much as possible I decided to buy the Atari version (V.1.06) when it became avaliable here in the U.S. I installed the game, and set it up exactly like my old sprocket version (everything to "very high") and my textures looks just like Craigs screenshot... Completely unplayable. Frame rates seem ok, but If I try to exit the game, it hangs up. I'm using the same nvidia drivers as before (158.18) so I am unconvinced that this is a driver issue. Something on the BIS side definitely broke since 1.05. I'm glad that I'm not the only 8800 user who is having this problem. I'm about to try the .cfg "fix" to see if that does anything.
