soldier1 switchMove "AmovPercMstpSlowWrflDnon_SaluteIn" or soldier1 switchMove "WeaponMagazineReloadKneel" neither working. (soldiers name set to soldier1) what am i doing wrong it's been ages since i did this in ofp.

it's not working for me,i'm probably just being dumb but what did you put in the soldiers init to get the animation working.

thanks sickboy,btw i think i went overboard with the music lol...i'm doing another coop with a chopper evac script ,camera.sqs intro e.t.c but i dont wanna release yet till i got my animations working,they dont seem work from ofp like the salute.

lol i meant 40 square km not 400... but still u can go for 400km in a chopper   over the sea heh.

m8,the whole map of sahrani IS in every multiplayer map. you play on the whole island.u can get in a chopper and go for 400km.

it's looking good though,this is what suma said in the netcode thread.... "I would even say ArmA bandwidth requiremens are lower than OFP, thanks to numerous optimizations, but as already said, it really depends on the mission, and with more players and more complex missions the bandwidth requirements will be higher. While developing Xbox version, we estimated around 32kbps per player is needed on the server in a moderately complex mission, including voice over net."

there's stock maps that can hold 60 players,but if i remember in ofp there's actually no limit (with custom maps) as long as the servers got the bandwidth. i bet we will see 150 player CTI's

are u joining servers that are the same version ? there's a patch out now.

ok so in arma we now have join in progress,but what worries me is this... i used to run a flashpoint coop server with custom maps that were mostly over 1mb cos they have added music e.t.c and it wasn't a problem for people to download the maps from me cos the game wasn't in progress (e.g we all wait at the map briefing screen till all names are yellow) but now with join in progress,if i've got a game in progress and someone joins my server they will be downloading a 1mb map from me while i'm trying to host,so it will lag the ppl who are already in game ? i remember in raven shield there was a feature for clients to download maps from external source,so clients would be downloading the maps from webspace instead of my server bandwidth. so my question is,would it be possible in arma to have external download of custom maps,and also will j.i.p cause my server to lag due to what i described above ? e.g bob is joining the game. rest of clients get 'no message received' cos bob is downloading the map currently being played.

ok it's cos i copy/pasted the whole line,worked when i just added -mod=@6th-editorupdate to the end. but i opened the editor and didnt see any new stuff ? dunno i'll mess with it tomorrow.it's late....need sleep. cant wait to get it working though great stuff. b.t.w this is why it didnt work , the first line below is what i pasted from your first post,the second is my shortcut.can see the difference. “C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\ArmA.exe†–mod=@6th-editorupdate "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\arma.exe" -mod=@6th-editorupdate -

i did the default installation and it patched ok but when i add  “C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\ArmA.exe†–mod=@6th-editorupdate to my shortcut it says 'the target box is not valid,make sure the path and filename are correct' ? -

this is a good sign! i bet by the time it's released in the us/uk they'll be a few patches out.. and maybe it'll be like the old days when they released patches with chinook,vulcan,apache,kiowa,hummer e.t.c

there's not many ppl online but it's only just come out in czech and germany. theres a server list here.. http://stats.swec.se:3001/server/list about 70 players right now.
