  1. Hello there! I serched the forum for this subject with no result. If enyone knows how to create own voice addon please help. What I want to create is the addon that will let me to select custom voice in the games profile creation screen. (Like thoes simple face addons) I know that it takes to create a VoiceX.pbo file that will include a folder "soldier_name" with all the *.wss files but i think there should be some config file to tell the game how to make use of it... if anyone knows how that file sholud look like please help. Sorry for my bad english. I hope i've wrote it clear enough... Thanks for any help.
  2. Try to insert your unit in editor with a behaviour on sefe (or somethin like that - that makes the unit carrying the gun on the shoulders), then start mission grab gun in hands get in vehicle and exit...
  3. I don't know if any more patches will come for OFP R but if it will be so, there are two things i'd like to see improved: 1. Modified respawn type. It would be wery nice when there would be new type of respawn or just the 'base' respawn would be modified so it wold include number of respawns. Something simple like <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">respawn="base"(x); where X would be nuber of respawns. I've played missions made by Icebone where it was done by some scripts and i think it is very good idea. 2. Exitting from vehicle with the weapon on shoulder :\. When you start a mission with your weapon on shoulder, later in the game every time you exit vehicle (no matter if you had the weapon in your hands while getting in) you have to take the weapon of your shoulder again its irritating specially when fast action needs to be done. I love the game it is now, but you know... nothing stands on the way to excellence.

I did not created any island yet, but i got the idea of creating the area surroundig the place i live (i want to use the visitor) and i have some questions: - Does OFP and visitor allows to create some ponds/lakes higher or lower than the sea level? - What should be the size of plane in 3D Studio to crate a 10x10km^2 map (like in original flashpoint maps)? (In visitor tutorial they suggested 256x256 but it's to small i guess) - Are there any other visitor tutorials, because i did not find in the breathe tutorial how to place the city names and the terrain height spots? - Do you think that using maplike-photos taken from a plane to texture the land is good idea?     Rts-3 1.4 released

    Hey Karrillion! Could you describe in deatails how does earning money works, Â i played a bit (the modern RTS3 1.4) and almost all the money i collected was from recykling enemy vehicles... Do you get more money when there is more of your units in occupied area? And how is my score going up by killing enemy units? (few units =1 point or something like that?) Aha - one more thing: I played against AI (2 squads on each side) And when i buy some manned vehicle for the other squad lider and send him to capture some areas he was walkig on foot and the wehicle was slowly going after him... How can I make the AI squad lider to take some tank and move fast to fight ;) ? Thanks for any explanation!

    Rts 1.0 build and conquer is out

    Hi there! I'm now downloading addons for your RTS and i wonder if it going to make some problems if some of those addons are alredy in my res\addons folder (don't know if i have older versions of them or same as you) I want to place your addons in the @mod directory. Do You think that i should delete duplicate addons from my res\addons folder first? Thakns for any advice.
  7. Ok I think I'll just reduce the number of vehicles in the mission and use the first method. But I'm not too good in scripting, will it work if i just write all the vehicles names in the quotes, where in your example was "car" so it would be: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">(count thislist) - ("car,truck,car2,car3" counttype thislist) <= 0 Â ? Thanks for your help!
  8. Hmm... i gues not, this is a multiplayer mission there is quite a lot of vehicles, and any one just can drive in there get out of car/heli, kill em all and the objecive still gona be undone.
  9. In some area under a normal trigger that is checking if there are any live civilians I have placed some civilians. Objectiv is to kill them. But when there is some empty vehicle in the area the trigger doesn't goes off. I know that i just could give thoes civilians some names and check if they are alive by the names, but i wanted them to appear randomly and set the "probability of presence bar" (or what ever it is called in english) on 50% and the "name way" does not work with this. So is this normal that the trigger thinks that the empty vehicle is a live civilian? Is there some other way to indicate if they are all dead? Thanks for any help...

    I finnished the game (both ofp and res) twice but i think i missed the nick (maybe because i'm not to good in english). Beside I'm in my job now and don't have acces to the game it self and I just wanted to read what's in the fun.bistudio.com.     Nogova map?

    On the "Operation Flashpoint - Cold War Crisis" CD there are all three nice looking .pdf maps of Kolgujev, Everon and Malden... Where can i find Nogova map like this?

  14. In my mission plane is flying in height 30m so when i try to "createvehicle" a flare on its position, the flare starts to burn very low and it lasts very short. Is there a way to change coordinates of created flare so it would be created above the plane and started to shine on its height? Thanks for any tip... ...sorry for my bad english
