How do you get your player...

Do you mean that you want a guy in your mission to speak with some certain voice? I think that that could be done with description.ext. There you set the player's name, player's name and player's "speaker". Download some description.ext tutorial, the thing is not hard but it's hard for me to remember that kind of things!

    Evil is good

I don't think that war is about evil, when thinking it from a single soldier's perspective. They do just what they are told to. Like, who is going to blame the soldiers of Rome for killing Jesus? But I think that leaders leading their countries to wars are evil, or at least dark grey, so to speak..

    Omaha allied reinforcements

I have not tried actually spawning soldiers, but you can move anything with command setPos.. like this: mySoldier setPos [ 0, 0, 0 ] or mySoldier setPos getPos someTrigger

    Pbo files

You can't edit PBO files, or at least you cannot edit them with the mission editor. You have to 1)DePBO 'em 2)decrypt 'em. Check out OFP editing center or Avon Lady's FAQ for how to get the tools for .pbo extraction.

    Syncranization

Make a trigger that covers the area. Put it to activate by "East", and "Not present". The trigger then activates when there are no eastern soldiers in that area. You can synchronize it with some WP or just make that trigger to set some global variable true, like convoy_move_on = true If you use that variable thing, pick up the WP where you want the convoy to wait, and put in its condition field convoy_move_on. That makes the convoy to wait until that variable is true. HTH!

And someone in one finnish newsgroup complained that the TV series, or movie, is not very "faithful" to the book, like it takes bits from here and bits from there and adds thing and stuff. Of course, movies have to be more entertaining than books, so I can understand that.

    Band of brothers

The episode where they dropped to the enemy territory was really confusing to me. I mean, the guys are put against a real enemy for the first time, they are behind enemy lines, and what do they do? Beat up some (experienced?) german soldiers, and destroy the (artillery?) guns. I've always imagined that the first battle is horrible and fatal to most of the soldiers, and that hard training doesn't make much difference.

    Favorite composer

Favourite composer: me! Well I haven't composed much classical music.. except some pieces with acoustic guitar.. In the comic "Calvin & Hobbes" there was a funny story about those genius-composers like those mentioned here. Calvin read from some book that Beethoven wrote his first symphony at the age of 5. Calvin said that </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">"At that age, I practised using the water toilet."<span id='postcolor'>

    Once again we are threatened

Spotted this from slashdot.org. It's about 2 kilometers wide, and if it hits Earth, it will cause "continent-wide devastation" and global climate changes. So if it's heading for Europe, maybe I should start taking the "how to get a green card" spam mails more seriously! Good news is that it probably won't hit Earth after all, and even if it did, we have still 17 years to repent our sins.
