I think it is important to have an accurate compass, the Ofp WGL compass is a great one, and there is some custom skins to make the OFP one readable : I think it's pointless to just have N,S,W,E direction on a compass because you can already have them with your watch or the stars. So the Compass must really be for accuracy. I know the game is only 75% that is why i made this topic, so the devs can read it and not forget

Any news ho great Tacrod? Do you think you will use Libya Addon and Toyota wars? they are both fully downloadable with one link, i think it should help them to be promoted as multiplayer full mod. I already made coop mission for them.

What would be cool is http redirect, so people connecting to your server will download missing addons automatically.

What i m wondering is if the AI will be able to fight and navigate indoors, not like in OFP where they was just going to defined position by the building maker.

I did a theoric map of Arma, we don't know where Sahra is located in this map so i put it in the left bottom (it could be anywere on the map), it should show you the scale of Sahra in the Arma world. We must ask William if he visited the other islands around.

Ingame map with Sahrani island is 419.4304 km2. They keep the other islands secret.

Right the small square are 128m and the big square are 1280m the 1 km square isn't fully drawed because the view is too zoomed. I just use the grid wich is accurate

Negative. When you increase map size to 25.6km x 25.6km from 12.8km x 12.8km you'll see that grids increase too. So the grids in ArmA screenshots can be and probably are 256m x 256m. Try a_lone_wolf's WRP double ot WRP quad addons and you'll see . a_lone_wolf's site That is a hack to increase ofp limit, it result in a miss scaling map grid. See square 128m and big square 1280 (128x10) :

Sahra size is 8x8 Km with a lot of water inside the square, Nogova is 8x10 with not much water inside the square, so Sahra is smaller than nogova. We should ask William about the other islands close to Sahra

Sanctuary pointed it : William said it on his blog. Sahra is just a small island in a bigger archipelago wich must be fully accessible without any loading.

Well i will give you a new hope then. The actual Sahrani size is only 64 KmË› or 16 % of the 400 KmË› announced. So the new hope is : what is the 84% remaining ? Is Sahrani only the begining of an archipelago conflict? Here the actual scale of Sahrani island made with all the intels avalaible : Full size here

YOU CANT SEE HOW BIG IT IS AND BIS SAID FOR AT LEAST 10 TIMES THAT IT IS GOING TO BE 400KM And yes, the caps was on purpose, i was screaming Sorry, but some people have good eyes and good distance evaluation. The island is small stop lying to yourself dude or you will be disappointed once you will have the game.

Very good details in model overall. But there is still the Black grass/tree on ground. They should unify the colors a bit more for more visual realism.

My main concerne right now about Arma, is the animations , please BI buy the animations from Sanctuary .

As you can see, the game isn't in pause but in slow motion.

If you change too much AI reaction you will make the mod incompatible with existent OFP missions, because AI will not let the players going through like they should in vanilla OFP. Per exemple if the mission maker put 1 AT for 2 tanks but in the mod the AT can only do 1 tank, then the mod will be incompatible with that mission, and so on.
