  1. G'day all, TADFA is a small mod designed to bring you the weapons from the Australian Defence Force (All 3 services, not just the Army). So far the Mod is releasing many of it's BETA addons, so here is the link to some of our ones we have completed so far Remember, theese are BETA's and incomplete, and theese are my first attmempts at modeling Remington 870 Shotgun M4 Elcan F89 Minimi Elcan Remember, theese are simply BETA teasers, not the full release.     There is no need to be a dick vilas. I dont mean to flame but heres hoping this guys addons, while they might be knockoffs of bis weapons to his personal tastes, will actually work without error messages popping up all the time or Counter-Strike Imports.

  5. Part of the RLK (Republic Of Leskap) Addon Series, a serious attempt of creating new weapons for Armed Assault has begun. Starting off with the FNC, by FN Of Belguim. Dubbed the K1 by the Leskap Dept of Defence and produced by the Kapp Weapons Company based outside the capital Tojeski. It is an exact replica of the Belgian FNC Rifle. Comes with both Ironsights and ACOG Attachment. Firing the 223. (5.56) and compatable with the western M203 Grenade Launcher Attachment. The Weapon is currantly undergoing trials by the Leskap Army. *ingame stats* Updated ACOG Scope. Working Ironsights. Working Bolt and Magazine animations (Thanks SLX example XM! ) Realistic accuracy and weight reprsentation. More weapons to come include. HK G36 dubbed K5 by the Leskap Army Colt M16A2, K4 by LKA Browning 9mm, HPB exact by LKA Various AK Weapons included 108, by RLK Reserve Forces.

Have been a bit busy with work lately over the last few weeks But i found a way to model and addon make while at work, HURAH! @Stew, yes there will be a crate with all weapons included and will be updated each release @ Andre, i feel sorry for you having to cart an C-MAG around More WIPs soonish
  7. ahoy gents, 2 questions. I want to create a new round (exmaple, 8.5mm) how would i define such a thing? 2nd, how to make it into a custom mag (example, 100 round C-MAG?) Ideas for config? Cheers Guys

    Debating about it at this stage I am fully aware of the faults of a C-MAG, but as i said, i am not the defence minister of Leskap. I am only the weapons builders, and i figured a C-MAG would be handy to have in game ......*whispers* even though me throwing rocks would achive more accuracy*

    Upcoming new W.I.P: Addition of a 100rnd C-MAG to the FNC with Bi-Pod. Will become the staple of the RLK Infantry Section. On the Flip of the spectrum, the Baiks Manufacturing Company has produced a copy of the AK-74, which has become popular with Leskap Sepratists. Here is an example of one captured by an RLK Special Forces Team.

  11. @ Shadow: My knowledge on Configs with vehicles is limited. I dont have any plans for any major vehicle work in the future. Perhaps if i came across some models, or a ready made skeliton and config i may persue it
  12. G'day All, Here is a W.I.P of My ABG Auscam (Australian Camo, aka, DPCU) Soldiers. NOTE: Theese are not exact reprasentations of Australian Forces, but more of a variant for the ABG Clan. The Camo is more or less a photoshopped direct scan of some of my uniforms from my service days. DPCU Section Commander DPCU Section Commander #2 DPCU Section Commander #3 DPCU Section Commander #4 To Do List: Add Mapping to Texutres, at the moment they are pure co_paa (Colour Textures) :helpsos: Addition of 'Biscuit' (Australian Army Identification Flash/Badge worn on upper arm) Addition of Velcro Flash (Hopefuly to be editable for you place any texture you want, be it national or clan) Change of Kneepads/Boots Incorporation of more Webbing and better Textured base plate/rig Desert Version (If i can be assed going to my garage to dig out of my DPDU, Desert Uniform) The Weapons used are the Great Australians At War F88 Pack Made by Soldier-X, by far the best F88s in any game i have played to date As Always, comments, questions and ideas always welcome
  13. Ahoy there mengs! Update Time: Still got some work to do on the Camelback in regards to Textures. Still modeling some other varients of troops, but i have more or less done the Bushhat (Light) and Helmet (Heavy) Digs. Screens Speak for themselves really. Screen ScreenScreen Screen
  14. that would be my bad mate, still lining the plate up to correctly fit onto the body. Hopefully ( ) will have a W.I.P of the helmet for you by Tonight at some point.
  15. Update: MOLLE Plate on back fixed, now lines up with body. Hat modeled more to resemble giggle hat. Added more additions to MOLLE Plate. Still a LOT more to come, now starting work on ze helmets. Update #1 Update #2 Update #3
  16. Thinking i might just leave both arms blank for the time being and throw an ANF on a velcro patch on the front patch of the MOLLE Rig i rekon. Started work on some Helmet Troops, as well as some more headway on the 3 day pack (i do models on weekend, and textures at work, stupid forigen boss ) Thanks for input mate

Cheers Stew, I forgot what side the patch was on (Never was issued with new cams) so i will adjust, and the op patch will be the new feature where u place ur own texture, if not, i might just throw in some parachute wings or perhaps just the Tri-Service colours from ADFA (Brother In Law Attended, damn Officers )

Updated Pic Updated Pic #2 Updated Pic #3 @Stew, i have started pulling the hat in a bit more to resemble a giggle hat, unfortunatly i sold my 2 a few months ago, and have just been going off pictures as a 'fashion' guide. Still gotta fix the Hat Camo and tweak the mapping a little bit more. Also started basic work on a Backpack (more or less a MOLLE 3 Day pack) but hoping to have a full size ALICE pack soon enough. Keep the ideas rolling guys
  19. Changelog for Today: Replaced RACs Flag with DPCU Australian Camo (old issue, but looks nice) All Mapping completed. More parts of MOLLE System Added to Front Rig. Added Longsleeve Version (nicknamed the Stewster) If anyone has any more ideas, please feel free to post, i will put up screenshot tomorrow from work when the boss isnt over my shoulder

    Weapon Config

    Well for now just a standard Box Magazine (eg, 30rnd 5.56 Stnag) If it is a config, anyone have an example to copy into a config, or a config template? Edit: Will clarify, the magazine is removed (hidden) during the reload animation. That is what i am trying to acomplish, sorry for misunderstanding
  23. I currantly have a basic weapon config, but i was curious of how you make it possible to remove the Magazine and possibly make a belt feed through the feed? I am unsure if it is a Config issue or an actual Model Issue. Many Thanks

  25. @Deadeye: thanks for the pics and host mate, Cheers tot he guys at ArmA.info! @CA Terror: Thanks for your 2c mate. The pants arnt darker than the shirt becouse it is the same base texture. And the reason for the cap is more for comfort and style than practicality, as i intended theese guys really to be in the cities and backyards, where camo isnt as important. And they arnt simple re'tex's, but there is a whole new webbing system, but i appriciate the constructive critisim mate
