I hope we can add sometime an new model to this release, so it also looks authentic like an real M1A2. But that wont happen until release of Oxygen3 Light and other tools. I hope you all enjoy this little modification and have fun with it. Authentic Warfare Studios is pointed on releasing totaly authentic addons with vehicles so realistic as we can make it. im sorry that we choosed to make the m1a2 a bit weaker for balancing. But i had requests like hell to bring a bit more balancing into the gameplay with an weak tank. but now i changed it back to the defaults and raised the armor from 900 to 1000 for realistic behaviour of the M1A2. i hope u forgive me my mistake. at the moment there is a work on an M1A2 Pretorian Prototyp what is in the works by the US Army in reallife, check piranha's site for more details. we have no coder for implementing those new models into the game so its hard to make our job without the tools BIS wanted to give us. why, lol the T72 only has 700 armor. so he still needs two hits sometimes. there is no t-80 or t-90 out yet and everybody cries "the US Forces are inbalanced". so tell me what u want guys? i still can change it in 5 minutes.

Thank you for this nice feedback Tankbuster. I made an BETA 1.12 version now. one is with mapfact air and has 2 apaches and 2 chinooks on it. no dynamic weather on it but accelerated time. 1 realtime minute = 15 ingame minutes. because of several requests i am testing this beta now in association with d3dsh33p and the 3rdID. Also i am working on an (Coop 20) SouthernStar version for 20 players. with 10 abrams tanks but only 3 of them respawn. also some strykers will be missed etc. but it will take avile. i try to get southernstorm to an final version that i dont need to touch again for several month. because my next project is PvP based on that mission and something else i dont wonna tell now. so stay tuned, i hope this mission reaches many servers out there and makes many fun on authentic hard to beat warfare. greetings, Kev

thx for feedback d3dsh33p, sounds great. yes you are right i have seen this uncleaned ammo boxes. if everything works fine in a few minutes i have the next and for this point maybe the last update for the next several days. i will improve the TeamStatus and VehicleStatus Dialog and make some changes, i think the mission can get a few more units like snipers and AT/AA units also i will clean up the ammo boxes. what is your servers name? i life in germany and have seen some empty servers with my mission. maybe u have a other time set, its 5:30 in the morning now still working on mission improvements and i had only 4 hours sleep yesterday. ^^ i will check your server later on, give me the server name. i'll cant wait to met you there soldier. over and out.

sorry your wrong. the only vbs2 features in my list are the 3d editor and the interact with vehicle interface. so whaht is your guys problem? UAV is i nice addon too for sure thats why i added. i added USMC vehicles into the list because OPF had B2Bradley and few other vehicles, where are they. i miss it so i wirte it. also i cant see no more russian enemy units. its boring, how about some middle-eastern units? so stop baggin me guys i just wrote some suggestions that are able. I dont want all the features like in VBS2, because i dont need such things like AAR etc. im sorry i overread it. i have read feedback and suggestions on reading over the forum thread list and clicked it directly. thats why i edited and added my few cents about that vehicle destruct bug if u drive into a rock and disembark. also i prefer some more performance improvements. but the rest i have seen so far was a good start on that patch.

We've just seen your 2 cents in another thread. Stop asking for VBS2 features. It ain't gonna happen. if its dont gonna happen, tell me please why we have the NV from VBS2 then? and were is this Stryker onboard driver LCD from? Also not everything i wrote is VBS2 only. i wroted some good and needet improvements. this is a suggestion and feedback thread. so i am right with this points. adding some features for better gameplay etc. thats what i explain with that post. By the way, the german modder team BW-Mod is making better units for there addon as BIS for Armed Assault. More details and features included. that is disapointing many german players.

I would prefer some performance fixes and some improvements like: # Robust tracer modelling accurate tracer/ball ratio and ‘dim tracers’ that bloom through NVG # The Map Samawah or something like that for missions in middle-eastern terrain # Wide selection of ADF and USMC units and vehicles # A range of middle-eastern unit and vehicle representations # Fully functional UAV simulation # Multiple fully functional gunner positions per vehicle # The new vehicle interaction interface from VBS2 # Accurate vehicle animation depicting functionality of doors, hatches and more # Interact and manipulate objects...i.e. traffic cones, CP signs, road spike strips. # Completely new Real Time Editor that can edit in 3D mode in addition to 2D mode. # Chooseable NATO marker generation and marker overlay system #Oxygen3(Light or so), Visitor 3 etc. we need the tools. //Its not much, its allready implemented in Armed Assault but not activated i think.
