Works fine on my barely $1200 machine. I plan to get a new PC or upgrade once every two or three years. Minority? Maybe, maybe not. Judging by a poll I set up about viewdistance, most people set theirs to about 1500 with normal terrain detail. This leaves me to believe, that most people have about a 1ghz or better processor. And judging by the processor speed and most people I know, I would guess they have at least a 64MB Graphics card. RAM would be between 256 to 512 MBs. Most people should be able to handle it fairly well. With 1200 Dollars you could get an awesome atlas computer with an awesome video card!
