I've never had a problem with my modem. I could host before XP, and I can still join so it's not my modem.

I hear from other forums it's firewall I have a USB ADSL modem I don't use a firewall (that I know of). I understand XP has bui;t in firewall how do I disable it?

Any of you try a FULL reinstall? Uninstall OFP then delete EVERYTHING from the dir, install OFP and get everything again?

Yes I can join. No I don't use gamespy I'm using DX 8.1 (XP DUH!) I'm running 1.30 up from 1.20 I use the standalone not Dedicated.

I have not been able to host a server neither dedicated nor non-dedicated. I run the server and I can not select a map. the OK button doens't work, nor does double clicking. AMD Thunderbird 900Mhz 512MB PC-133 Ram 30Gb 7200 RPM HD FIC AZ-11 MB Radeon 32mb DDR 1.5Mb DSL Windows XP Pro

Ok the new drivers I got for my Radeon(not ATI's) or it could be the 1.26 beta made the shadows and everything smooth. So that is all fixed. Althought OpenGL still runs better :-)

:-( OpenGL :-( I have a Radeon 32DDR and the shadows look like crap. also the darn game freeze on a regular basis. So you don't ask me my specs are: 900Mhz T-bird 512 PC-133 Ram 30Gb HD SB Live! Value Radeon 32MB DDR I have new drivers for Radeon. Well I guess I should just go ahead and ask, is it just ME or does some( well a lot) of the graphics look not that great? Mainly I can say the shadows it's not like they look just bad it's the fact that I can't see gun shadows and I see the joints in the shadows where the arms legs ect. connect. Enlightin me if you will WHY they wont add OpenGL? Given the issues and how D3D does this game absolutly NO justice, I'd almost be willing to pay for that... of corse depends on the price.

Oh yes one more thing, D3D T&L what does T&L have over normal D3D and what does it mean? Thanks KoRnboy!

Will there ever be OpenGL suport of OFP? I mean D3D looks pretty crapy on my radeon, I get freezes and the shadows are all messed up. You think you Dev guys could add in OpenGL please?
