Win xp + sound blaster live + resistance crashes

I got totally fed up with these Creative crap soundcards I got the SB5.1 Platinum wich costed me a year ago more then 200 Euro's, and never had any fun of it....I also got the well known crankling sound bug in Flashpoint, and the same goes for Ghost Recon, and several other games .So today I tried out the new drivers mentioned in this and other topics, and it was gave me nothing then troubles I uninstalled the old driver first, then installed the new one.So, after rebooting my computer, no sound at all! And it took ages before my computer was finished rebooting and starting Windows XP. After uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers from the cd, my sound was back, but my pc is still slow as hell when starting up XP...So, I decided that tomorrow I will buy me a new card, and toss the crap SB card in the garbage ...Anyone knows a good decent card that gives no probs, and with decent drivers? Thx. -

For this test I used the Black-Ops Laser guy , so I didnt add a LTD to any of the other Black-Ops. Just to let u know I didn't something wrong .I didnt saved the mission either, I just putted some object in the map and tested all via preview, dunno if this makes any difference..And I didn't put any commands in the init field of the AI either. Hope my explanation helps a bit, lol

Hiya all, I just experimented with the laser designator in the game, but how does it work? mabye a stupid question, but I tried it with an AI soldier( he was the guy with the designator ) , and me in the A-10.I let the AI target a T72, and take off with the plane.When I arrive near the targeted tank, I see the tank on the radar locked ( red dot ) , but when I drop the bombs, they all miss, lol. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? Thx

Well, I think BIS did an outstanding job with this new netcode, because I never got that much fun in multiplayer as with Resistance   I often play with a squad I recently joined, and they have a dedicated server with a 64 k upload  cable internet connection wich he also shares with another pc, and we play with 12 players max, and there seems to be no lag at all..All missions on this server have loads of vehicles and stuff on them, and gameplay is great   I don't think that this would be possible with the " old " V1.46 netcode . So for me the new V1.75 code is working just fine Â

I got a question about this too; I just started experimenting with the editor yet, so I haven't got any experience with it, but I was trying this too, but when I press the preview button in the editor, the soldiers aren't in the chopper, but they just run around for a while, and that's it...Or do I have to save the " mission " first to see the men in the chopper? I tried both ways like Denoir and Rain of Bullets said, but none seems to be working... -
Hiya, I think that its harder to  brake with tanks, or any vehicle with tracks in Resistance then it was with the original game.. Especially braking on hills ( in the multiplayer CTF 12 player game on Nogova, the mission near the bridge is where I noticed the brakin difference ) takes a big distance to come to a full stop , while this shouldnt be to hard with tracks... its like driving on ice to me ...
