I got a ADSL 1024Kb down- 256 Kb upload connection, and playing on a Win xp 1300 Mhz Windows Xp .Server located in the Netherlands, Europe, and I post a message when I quit playing again..

Hiya, I was just watching The Avonlady's FAQ when I saw a question about the islands... According to this site, the original Cold War Crisis islands are 14Km * 14 Km = 196 Km square. Now when checking The Codemaster Resistance Site , they are saying that the new island will be 100 kms square, wich makes it half the size of the original three islands...Now that would be a bit of a shame

Well, even if the island would be 12.8 * 12.8 kms as u say, then how can the new island be as big as one of the original ones? Or there has to be much less water in it..

No need to turn down the XP firewall when joining a server... For hosting however, u will need to turn down the firewall, otherwise others can't enter your game... hope that helps...

How do I find my position on the map when playin in Veteran mode? Or how do i reply to the message " Where are you ? " in multi or single player game?

If u mean "how do I find a game ", easiest thing to do would be to download The All-seeing Eye . U can find many servers for Flashpoint here, and many other games as well. This program is much better then Gamespy or whatever program u can think of.. Good luck with it

Hiya all, I am a newbie with editing/creating maps for Flashpoint, but I was wondering if it was possible to turn off that terrible radio repeating messages like "Oh no, 6 is killed ", u all know what I mean.. Anyway, is it possible with the 'RadioOff ' command, or whatever its name is? I haven;t tried out myself, but was wondering if any of u guys did... Thx

Yup, the radio messages repeating sucks, but for the rest the new patch ROOOOOOOOCKS!!!!!! But wasn't that radio bug in the game since the first relaese already???

I think this is from the first version of the game... only , to my opinion, in V1.40 it is worse...

To Cand: I got the same prob as u, and the problem is simple...When u try hosting with a computer on a LAN, who shares internet connection, the clients who try to join in, cant find ur ip, because they can only "see " the LAN networkcard... I've tried everything , but no luck...

Why al this s**te to make a spawnpoint??? I dont wanna mess in Notepad for hours to build a map, why can we select the different spawns in the mission-editor???

Well, since all u assholes had a good laugh about my question concerning that so called 'camping " of reckon u all a buch of loosers, not even worht to play the game! I play DFLW and Flashpoint a lot, and when playing TKOTh or Attack & defend, I also try to find me a good spot to defend or keep the zone, and i dont see the problem of that... U guys are those stupid wankers u see in games in DF and flashpoint who wont use there brains, but instaed run around like sheep!
