    Hey Solus, you ever gonna add an SLX vehicle mod where doors open when the vehicle is destroyed and people enter/exit them? I loved this in ArmA.

    Scoped weapons: Is this possible?

    I have wanted this for a very very long time! Just make the whole screen zoom in (not just the scope) and blur what is outside of the scope. Oh my god let's do this!

    ACE2 is awesome, all I can say regarding that. Operation Pandora got scrapped though so I might be able to talk about it now? I'ma have to ask. Alex, what you said reminded me of the head bob setting. You can turn it off and see better but then it's unrealistic.

    Thanks for the very detailed explanation! Seems there actually is a third and fourth RPG round. Pretty much what I was asking was in your last paragraph. As I said I know their purposes in real life but I was more curious if the game engine could make use of the differences. Apparently not though, which is slightly disappointing.

  10. In ArmA 2 OA will there be a proper Javelin targeting system? If the developers need to see how it works they should download America's Army: Overmatch. I've looked through the optics before and that's as accurate as I've yet seen in a computer game.

    Holo gunsight...utter pap?

    In real life I LOVE EOTech sights and I'd never use my weapon without it. However in the game I stay away from them at all times. 1: You cannot use this sight at night what-so-ever. Real sights have a brightness adjustment for this. 2: It acts just like an iron sight. The target reticule, or "dot", doesn't even follow where the gun is pointing, it's just painted onto the optics! (retarded as all hell) For these reasons alone I always use AGOC sights or irons.

    ArmA 2 OA has a realistic thermal vision feature implemented. This same thermal imaging technique can be, and is applied to a FLIR camera (Forward Looking Infrared) in the game.

    Eye For an Eye

    I just completed this mission 'Eye For an Eye'. I do not normally play single player missions but I had a lot of fun with it, the comical speech between the characters made it that much better. Keep it up BIS!

    Do you mean the upcoming expansion pack? This is an addon for ArmA 2 and it's already out.

    I never lost anybody on "Regular" difficulty mode, I died a few times though. I set the AI to "Danger" and they hunkered down and stayed clear of streets and gunfire. :D

    Pistolfied's Tracers

    I sort of miss the unrealistic effect ArmA had where tracers at night would illuminate it's immediate surroundings as it passes through the environment, similar to a missile. It was a cool effect.
