    Hmm I've never had that issue before. I alt-tab quite frequently to do other things on my computer and I've never had it jump back in without my command.

    What does gamma correction do exactly? Does it lower FPS a lot?

    Doom engine? The light does effect the 3d environment. Doom was two-dimensional so I don't think they had any lighting effects buddy.

  7. You guys do realize most military vehicles don't use glass for windows right? Anyway I've wanted this ever since OFP. This obviously isn't an engine limitation, so why the heck hasn't it been implemented?

    I think if you run the command argument "-window" after the target directory it will run in a window. Why do you want to do this anyway?

    I don't have any soft shadows even when my shadows are set to "Very High". Wtf is with that?

    I don't think you'd notice a huge improvement in quality with the 58xx series because this game doesn't use Direct Compute 11, 10.1, or even 10.

    Lighting

    I think vehicle and environment lights shouldn't be so scattered on the ground. What I mean by that is every few meters the lights from vehicles go to a new position, rather than being refreshed all the time. Almost like they are on a grid. This is pretty hard to explain but I think you get the picture. If not, let me know and I can post a picture.     Not to dig up an old thread or anything, but I have yet to see this in ArmA II. Yes, this is very annoying. Is there a fix now for this?

  19. I'm a "reality fanatic" as you put it, so I'm fine with it. :) Although I've never blacked out BEFORE I fell down from running too long, even with 170 lbs of gear.

    You can actually turn the fire propagation off completely or make it slower in the .hpp file.
