    Going to give this mission another go after a long absence from the ArmAverse. Looking forward to trying out the new additions! Setting up the parameters for the first time always takes forever though.
  2. I host from my game client. I had the exact same build as all people attempting to connect. We launched the game through Steam without the beta patch and it worked great.

    I just tried launching JDAMs at a target and cannot figure this system out. I clicked on the map where I want the bomb to go, click "mark" and see the red radar blip when flying over. I cannot seem to actually target the marker with the bomb though. Any help is much appreciated. Whenever I try to lean left or increase collective/thrust (Q) my character executes some sort of arm signal and all my AI do things I wish they wouldn't. I get a message saying "All form all around defense". How do I disable this?
  4. Since this update my friends and I cannot connect to each other online. I host a server and he gets "connecting failed" when attempting to join. We also tried joining an existing server in the browser and get the same problem.

    I haven't been crashing since I disabled @JTD and updated beta patches so I enabled @JTD again to be sure that is the problem. Sure enough as soon as I run @JTD the game crashes ~30-60 minutes in.

    In the parameters there are a number of operation types. Task Force Ops, General Operations, All Operations, etc. What exactly do these different settings do?

    There is a problem with the Lingor Patrol Ops release. There are two versions: patrol_ops_203_co_isaf.lingor and patrol_ops_203_co_usmc_n.lingor. Both of these show up as USMC North in the missions list in game. One says ISAF (Lingor units) while the other says it's USMC. The USMC seems to be fine, but the ISAF version is actually played as the BAF.

    At this point the mission seems perfect to me. All we need now is balanced bombers (somehow) and the mission on other islands - specifically Chernarus and Lingor. I love Lingor so much. It's my favorite island I've ever played in any ArmA game, even compared to BIS made ones.

    Disable dynamic fire propagation then. Use the userconfig. What is FLIES mod?

    Using the armory you can access all weapons and vehicles through the appropriate menu system, even custom content you've downloaded.

    Hmm that seems to have worked, at least temporarily. Very strange indeed. I have a suggestion for the mission. Please create the player HQ starting area as a safe zone or something. It seems every time I play I cannot continue because vital base assets are taken out by a hostile patrol. Just a few minutes ago I was playing and got my first piece of intel from the civvies. I went back to base only to see it smoldering and smoke billowing into the sky. I got out of the HMMWV and I was immediately shot by something. I don't know what killed me (as is common in ArmA2) or why it was in our base. Needless to say it's quite frustrating consistently having your base of operations blown up.

    Is there any kind of a crash log for ArmA2 that might help us determine the cause of this problem? Otherwise I'm clueless.

    ArmA3's early years too! I hope you are planning on releasing a similar mod for ArmA3 with all of its updated particle count and effects possibilities. Seriously sir, you have no idea how many people love your mod. Could you elaborate a bit on the overhaul? Why would the removal of setVehicleInit affect it? I know nothing of Real Virtuality modding.

    Yeah I've played Patrol Operations 2 and a number of other single player missions. I've made my own as well. Again the only times I get this is in Insurgency and this mission.

    Nope. Definitely only in Insurgency and this mission. I can play Patrol Ops or anything else and it's fine. Strange I know. In these pictures you can see the editor is fine, then in the mission the textures go to crap. Note this does not happen at all times, but mostly in cities. Even then the textures will fade in and out at will, creating an inconsistent quality throughout the game. It's been much worse than shown in the pictures. I just wanted to get these taken to give you guys a rough idea what I'm talking about. Public Steam images link.

    I tried running @JTD (with the userconfigs of course) by itself with no other addons at all. I launch the game though the Steam library. I'm using 0.3 hosted on the first page of this thread.

    It crashes after roughly ~30-60 minutes of play. I can't tell if anything specifically causes this issue. My two friends and I plus the gentleman in the other thread are all having the same issue. I'm at a loss here, just can't figure it out. What could be different between your game and mine I wonder.

    I do run the betas yes. I have been having this issue for quite some time (before 1.62) but just recently discovered it's @JTD causing it. I took a long leave of absence from the ArmAverse and was very sad to see @JTD causing crashes. It's my favorite mod for ArmA. Maybe you should *cough* update it *cough* *cough* to fix the problem.

    I'm not sure what specifically causes it. Is there a way to see what specifically caused the game to crash? You can see here two of us in that thread that experience crashing using @JTD.
  22. When recently launching my game after adding Blastcore Visuals and Blastcore Tracers I noticed something very wrong. I checked the target line in the shortcut and sure enough, the last few mods and -nosplash are cut off. I'm using Spirited Machine's ArmA II Launcher to create the shortcut. Is there any way to get around this aside from scrapping the shortcut altogether and just using the launcher? Preferably what I'd like to do is copy/paste the "parameters" in the launcher (basically the target line) into the Steam launch options field. Would this allow me to launch all my mods and everything through Steam?

    Is that compatible with Blastcore tracers? I can't see any effect like that after installing.

    It's really strange. I only get the low quality texture problem in Insurgency and this mission. Any other mission is fine. My friend and I both suffer from this.

    Yeah quite a few of us are getting crashing issues when using this mod. Too bad I love this mod so much.
