Hi friends, i recently have finished the modelling of an Spanish armoured recon wheeled vehicle, like this: i´ve just made it´s config, but i´ve encountered some problems that want to ask you if anyone can help me: - How can I do a commander position in a wheeled vehicle? (i only want it to have a fixed angle optics, not a commander turret), the proxys are fitted in the p3d, i don´t want to made this vehicle as a classTank. - How can I turn the third pair of wheels in the opposite way to the first pair,like in the real vehicle ( i´ve tried inverting the steering axis but no results...) - How can i represent the main gun recoil?, if you see below in the config,i´ve created a new animation,i want to animate the barrel to make it have recoil with each shot and that it returns back to it's original possition when it reloads. here is the config, i have highlighted in black the most relevant sections for my questions: excuse me about my poor writen english, and thank you for the helpin!

    Weapon optics transparency

    Thank you, Jackal, I fixed this problem in a very easy way, avoiding to make special anims to fit the launcher in another position. I show here how appears the optic now, the result as you can see is that the hand now is invisible, and the reticle lines are perfectly clear. : I´ve done what Jackal recommends me, i resumed in these steps: 1- In Photoshop 9, select the Alpha channel of the texture, and choose "load channel as selection",  you will have selected the reticle lines(the white ones) 2- Now, we choose "invert selection" to allow us to paint in the surrounding area (the black zone) 3- I choosed a wide pencil loaded with an 87% grey, and painted all the black zone with this. 4- the result isn`t very visible,but you can save as this point as a .paa texture in RGB4444 mode. The optics now is ready to hide all of the first person view model. i hope it helps you, thanks again,Jackal.
  3. Hi all, i show here an image of the problem i had when makin the 3d scope for my rocket launcher. As you can see, the hand and fingers in front of the optics are an obstacle to aim whatever I want. My question is how can I hide them, I see that there are spaces close to aiming lines that shows full transparency over the hand, how can I apply this to all the optic?

    FFAA 2.0

    The latest version of the FFAA MOD was 2.1 that fixed most of the bugs reported on 2.0, the download site is broken by now, but we expect to recover it soon. As anyone said here, we are working the MOD FFAA for ArmA, it will be the 3.0 version and can you see weekly reports on www.ffaa.es, we wish to launch it on June´s first week. For those who dont understands spanish very well, the FFAA v3.0 will include a major improvement on weapons (because at moment, it can´t be done very much on units), our intention is to make all the weapons ourselves, and you will see on the first package elements of the Spanish Marines  (Infanteria de Marina), all with their specific weapons and equipment, like HK G36E, AG36E, G36 SPAFIM, C90 antitank launcher, AMELI w/SUSAT squad MG and LLAMA M82 pistol. Also ,is planned to include some vehicles to give him mobility, like the M1043 HMMWVs, the AB212 chopper and a Super CAT zodiac. i hope you enjoy it!
