Alpha Testing Unit, eh? I thought the name would sound more carebearish - good. Well, I just invited everyone on the friendlist to join. LOL

Like events of last year didn't happen? The rest I won't even comment on - ignorance is bliss. Good luck to your customers, if you ever decide to produce anything of worth, metalcraze.

Added.

I hope it comes in vanilla. Burns & proper wounds - "MEDIC! Morphine!" Is tomorrow Tuesday yet?

If anyone has trouble linking their Steam profile through these forums, make sure you create a custom/unique URL in your Profile for convenience. There were probably about 30 Iroquois Pliskins on Steam, before I created this one.

Added. I can't promise anything, most of my time could go towards the technical A3A part for the first week, but we'll figure something out. Send Steam friend invites to each other, peeps, if you like what you see in the OP.

Posting your Steam profiles would be a start. :p

Oh, I dunno - perhaps they didn't want a second Takistan, and we'll be seeing more vegetation on Altis than the RL Limnos? We'll see. -
I agree completely, and it is something I've been saying months ago with regards to clunkyness of infantry/basic gameplay mechanics - which should be top priority. Uber FLIR & even body armour can wait for a patch after release. OMG, YES! But we knew that already... Good to read the state of mind about it from the devs themselves, though. :o

There's going to be a retail edition with the DVD containing the game, but you will still have to activate it through Steam.

Common sense would suggest that to be the case. -
What's the first thing you're going to do on Alpha?

Czech out the PhysX & Ragdoll implementation on every tangible asset. -
Sam Fisher approves. :) New one definitely captures the feel of what will be happening on the ground, in the air and on the sea. :icon_twisted:

Must be the soil, or not enough landmass/elevation to generate its own microclimate. :/ Or this could be the case - http://www.sailingissues.com/windroses.html Do storms happen in the Aegean? The southern Med is more balanced with its rainfall. I'm hoping to see Altis with something like the following, Full res: http://i45.tinypic.com/2ijm3i0.jpg (Taken 31st Dec, 9k sq. km island in the Med :)) Perhaps, with 25-40% less vegetation, but definitely not Takistani levels. -
Supporter Edition gives you an indefinite Season pass for all DLCs for the vanilla game - ArmA III, if any are going to be released at all during the game's lifespan.

Awesome - looks like home, if a bit arid. Hope BIS put more flora on Altis. -
what are the payment options for Arma 3 SUPPORTER EDITION !
Iroquois Pliskin replied to Evilredbull's topic in ARMA 3 - BETA DISCUSSION
Would that be Visa Electron? Technically, it's a debit card - should work flawlessly. -

Something is ALWAYS synced - probably the torso. Client decides where the appendages & the head land. -
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Where+does+steam+save+Workshop+files Thank me later. :cc:

Cute. You just have to think a little why that was the case back then: the computer gaming market was non-existent and to spur interest in the general public, such a marketing ploy was introduced, which did serve very well for quite a while.

Many things could happen anytime - lots of asteroids past Mars' orbit & in the Kuiper belt, and new ones are always being thrown into the inner Solar system. Just sayin'. I just love this thread, hope it stays after March 5th.

Things to do before ARMA III is released!
Iroquois Pliskin replied to almanzo's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
As blue as The Blue Marble. Won't be enjoying it though, with A3A coming out next week - the pool will have to do, if there's time even for that! :cc: -

http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2012/087/0/3/arma_3_limnos_story_map_by_arma3-d4u3yb0.jpg The area near Atsiki & all the way to the Eastern coast is definitely the place for that. Altis reminds me of Sahrani - http://community.bistudio.com/wikidata/images/d/d1/ArmA_Sahrani_Map_Large.jpg Rotate Altis 90 degrees to the left and you have Sahrani. :) The Atsiki-Airfield will become the New Corazol! P.S. I'm about to break down in tears: Ortego, Cayo, Corazol, Paraiso, Bagango, Dolores - so many memories!
