Buy, enter Steam key, download & play. ;) Wrong thread btw.

    Supporter Edition DLC Includes?

Yeah. I think this DLC deal could've been included in Digital Deluxe to make it more attractive: 1 or 2 free DLC pass, or something similar - not on All, like in Supporter Ed.

    Supporter Edition DLC Includes?

Standard practice to offer seasonal DLC pass nowadays. DLC doesn't mean whole expansions, which are worth upward of $30.

That urban prone position is going to surprise many, as the old ArmA II tactics make them think, that they have their target pinned down behind a Humvee or some other vehicle. :p

I thought that was brilliant as well. ShackTac had done great work with those. :)
  6. This is the ArmA III section... wrong thread. Could you perhaps edit your post as not to confuse others? ArmA III Alpha is not available for purchase yet.

    Supporter Edition DLC Includes?

arma3.com/buy Mouse over "ALL FUTURE ARMA 3 DLCs" -> "IF ANY, does not apply to standalone expansions, or sequels". Pretty explicit.

Interesting bit about door interaction: The action to Open/Close door persists in a bubble* around the player, as long as he's in the vicinity of the object. Means you don't have look for that 1-2 pixel in width deadzone with your crosshair, which made the Action pop up in ArmA II. *Or perhaps it's a vastly extended crosshair deadzone for Actions, Dslyecxi does aim at the door for a split second after taking down the soldier, enters the room and the action to close it persists for a few seconds.

Could we cut subjective BS discussion and focus on the features as seen in the new Media? Sidearms look like the could pose a threat, even if going only by the superior models, when compared to what we have in ArmA II. Judging from E3/GamesCom presentation - they do pose a threat and have decent grouping accuracy on shots. :)

On either side of the barrel? Could fit both flashlight & IR with 2 of those. There's 3 currently: barrel, rail point for either flashlight or IR, sights. Tbh, it's plenty enough for the purpose of the Alpha & especially the new players.

    Supporter Edition DLC Includes?

Correct. There's only 1 standalone expansion for ArmA II and it is Operation Arrowhead.

Frogman suits are The number of various differing helmets & vests is a pleasant surprise. Great hand anims on all possible weapon configurations: from rifles with underbarrel GLs to RIS handgrips. Modular suppressor is sexxxeeh.

Agreed. When engaging (semi-)peripheral targets, you turn your sights/weapon first, followed by the torso. A 5-10% setting for weapon float deadzone is a must <- I couldn't play ArmA II without it. I'm certain it's in the game, though.

Of course weapon floating point is going to be in the game. ArmA's CQB & Infantry controls got upgraded to Rainbow Six level, and I am talking about Raven Shield & previous titles. ;) But even Rainbow6 wasn't this fluid, or customisable. Congrats!

This is magnificent, BIS & ShackTac -- couldn't have picked a better Squad to do the presentation. I've watched till the stance/dynamic stance adjust part & I am salivating! :computer:

Haven't watched the second vid yet, but here's Dslyecxi's info on control scheme - just released: http://dslyecxi.com/arma3-alpha-controls/ I wasn't planning on sleeping tonight anyway. :) Edit: The tactical pace stance with weapon raised works better than even I imagined. CQB and PVP just got a massive upgrade. BE QUICK OR BE DEAD!

    Warfare missions at release

Plenty enough for Stratis, rarely did we get the chance to use jets on Utes in ArmA II. Statics could be in, but I'm more interested in ironing out infantry CQB around capture points & in towns/the airfield at this point.
