Just out of curiousity are there any of you out there who like playing ArmA but don't particulary like the whole advance to contact bit? Anyone who'd be happy just: Driving around in a Hmmwv doling out ammunition and carrying casualties back and forth Driving convoy vehicles Rearming/Refueling and Repairing/Combat vehicles Operating as a field medic etc If you would be, how seriously would you take it and why do you think you would enjoy it. Would you rather just tool around on your own, with likeminded people or provide service support to more traditional teams? Edit: and if you did would you object to also being a door gunner/support weapons crewman

Why don't you like minded chaps get together, conduct a bit of training then offer your services to the highest/nicest/bestest bidder You could provide support for other clans or be bait or provide the driver/gunner/maint elements for convoy missions while teeth clans provided security.

Well being a pilot or a machinegunner in an infantry section is a specialised role in itself. So I would rule those out of the imaginary job spec above.

Hi Guys, I'm not looking for this for any particular reason other than wanting a real one and wanting to be able to walt about Sahrani on a fake one. Join the army? I guarantee you I am the most experienced, infantry-wise, as well as SOF community, member of these forums, seeing as I'm actually present US Army Infantry. Seeing as my unit is B Co. 1-20th SF Group, I'd say I know a little more about 'it' than any of you wannabes. If you really want to make an issue out what you do for a living I can arrange to have your story verified. That said, being SF or otherwise a member of the military doesn't preclude you from being a muppet.

SASR_SABRE and SKEG_MAN have generously given permission to use their ADF models, and unless Im mistaken Sabre has some textures already, just not the time to apply them. Once again, taking on the job of config'ing this pack seems to have some sort of curse/blessing on the volunteer where their work life seems to become incredibly busy as soon as they start working on it. So I'll ask again (if only to hear the echo in here) if there are any experienced (and they have to be experienced we've had too many well meaning guys who didn't have the knowledge) config writers who could help put the modern troop pack together please contact me.

That was the original plan mate, but we're just going to release them with the BIS FAL. Unfortunately we're pressed to get the Modern Config finished, I might add in the Kman/Lt Hunter HK53 for one of the units but that will be the extent of it. As it is I'm going to have to replace the head model myself (I have 02 but am a mong with it) but once they look complete ingame I'll release them. Edit: I'll include information about the weapons and equipment of the day in the readme. For people who care there are quite a lot of existing addons they can use to complete the picture.
