That upper one looks like a 1/6th scale toy for GIJoes.

That's strange. I know BIS is trying to appeal to realism. But these are trained soldiers were are talking about. Marines are trained to run uphill for 30 minutes constantly with about 50 pounds on their backs. And this guy can't run for 30 seconds without getting all tired?? Honestly I can do better than that. And I am a untrained civilian 20 year old.

?? Do your kids play OPF? Or do they know that you do?

Hmm, that's interesting, 'cause I was sure that there is an infinite number of enemies on a map. They probably made it that way so that noone killed ALL the enemies, (Of course I don't think anyone really could, lol)

Anyone play the "Vulcan" single player mission? When in the city fending off the hinds in the vulcans, I order one of my vulcan men to go and rearm at a near by ammo truck. He goes off to reload, and it says "action" above him. The thing is that he doesn't stop. He never finishes. He can go on throughout the whole game reloading. Why does this happen? I even order the M117 driver out and have him drive the ammo truck out in the open so that it will be more accessable to the vulcan driver. It doesn't make a difference. Anyone know why? Also, is there anyway to beat that mission without having to retreat and radio in the planes to destroy the additional tanks?

OF COURSE I'm telling him to reload by using his action menu! How else would I do it?? I'm running the game out of the box.

Hey........what'd you think of the mission hmmwv?

Arn't Humvees supposed to be able to fire weapons from their tops and stuff? Like machine guns and missiles? And have their own radar? And I think they are also amphibious. -
Yeah, but you shouln't be killed "automatically" when going far. If it is so dangerous anyways, then a soldier should kill you. If you can kill all the soldiers before they kill you, then you are lucky or just really good. So what? The engine is based kinda on real life, so if you can't in real life, then you won't be able to in here. This automatic dying thing is ridiquilous. It has never happened to me, except for maybe just this one time. I don't know. It was in the SP mission "clear sweep1" where you are the black ops clearing the town. Well, after we were done, the chopper came for us. I was just wanting to have some fun, so I killed the other guys and the pilot and gunner. Flew the think all over the island, finally landed somewhere way north. I got out and started running around, and I suddenly died. But from what it looked like, I was killed by the rear fan blades.

Yeah, I know you're supposed to call for the A-10's that's what I always do. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this without retreating? And as for the reloading, I know he is supposed to say ready. The reason I made this thread in the first place is because he never says "ready" or is ready.

Does gold come with the original version, or do I need to already have the original version? -

Also, the town is saved from the enemy assault, the mission is completed. It's just that it's the planes that do it. I mean how do they expect you to take on like 4 or 5 T80's while you only have 2 vulcans with flimsy armor and 1 M117 that cannot even attack tanks. I can easily hold off the 1st 3 tanks or BMP's, whatever they are. But they are light armor compared to the later tank assault.

Because it keeps saying "action" above him when he is relaoding. When he is finished, it should say "ready".
-
No, that's hitting the "select all" button, usually the "~" button, and then hitting 1,1. Hitting F1 is selecting yourself.

Where's the official OFP site? So what is this gold thing? Is it another game coming out like OFP? And what is this "renegades" or whatever? Is that going to be an addon? How many addons are there out there now? How do they work? How do you get them?

Hmm, this mission didn't come with my cd? What the? I don't have it. Must I download this? I have the old boxes that is not gold version. Or whatever gold version is. I don't really know about anything other than what came in my "green" Operation Flashpoint cold war crisis box. What else is there out there? -

Yeah, that's what I figured, mad mike. But what about that distinct path they take to actually board the choppers? It's like they are making a visual recce of their surroundings to make sure the area is cleared of enemies so that the chopper won't be vulnerable to fire once they board. Or they are moving to help avoid the fan blades? Anyone here know?
-
I was wondering why the black ops board chopper they way they do. If you play "Clean sweep 1" in the single player missions. When you finally kill all the enemies, and you and your black op buddies have to board the chopper. They wait really far away, but then they move in a distinct pattern before actually boarding the chopper. I was wondering the reasoning for this. I think that maybe this is some stealth technique that special ops use in order to reduce visibility, perhaps?

Possible clearance? Looks like the military is using opf for military training and want modellers and editors to help make their similation programs.

I was wondering if by getting upgrades or downloading new missions makes any changes to your cd. I am thinking about doing these things now, but I don't want them to mess with the actual CD that I bought. If I want to I should be able to uninstall everything and reinstall the CD, and make it like it was when I bought it. Also, should I take the CD out when I am dowloading patches, upgrades, and missions? I don't want them to change the cd. Maybe I should take the cd out while they are downloading just to make sure?
