I would either want to die having WILD SEX. Or if any of you have seen that movie with that huge handgun battle in the in the little restaurant where there were these 2 groups of guys like 20 on each side, and they have a huge gun fight, guns blazing all over the place. In the end, everyone died except for an old man in the backroom who finally came out after it was all over with a shotgun in his hands. And the smart black man who hid under somewhere. If any of you know what movie this was, please tell me. I saw this part and have wanted to see it again. I think Brad Pitt was killed in the gun fight too, but it could have been someone else. But anyways, that would be a great way to go out.

While ya'll are here. Can someone tell me how to play downloaded missions?? I don't know where to put them and how to run them. Any help would be appreciated. More specifically, I am talking about Aculauds Snipe mission.
-
I'm having fun with player animations...
IceFire replied to Aculaud's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
I was actually wondering about that. Like when you snipe an officer who is using binocs. I get a head shot in, and then he puts his binoculars carefully back into his pocket and dies. -
Infact, if someone does do that in my room, I cannot eat in my room for a whole 24 hours til the place is fully aired out.
-
That's disgusting. I can't stand it when people fart. Especially in my room. If they do I will generally open all windows and doors and try to air out the place with fans. I even tell some people. If you gotta gas, go outside and do it.

Cool, I think I'm gonna go visit England for a week!

Ok, I just clicked on the link and it asked me where I want to put it. Where do I put it? Thanks.

I never thought the Blackhawk looked scary only because it is on MY side. The HIND-D looks really scary. The Mi-17 looks like a big cow in the sky. It looks really stupid and slow. I love them because they are so easy to take down. Blackhawks would probably look more scary to me if I were a Russian.

Ok, cool. Where can I get the non winter version?? And how do I download and what are the steps required to play it? Also, if you rerelease it, will I need to delete it and then redownload it, or can I just download it and it will automatically replace the flawed version?

Hey Aculaud, I want to play your mission. What do I need to do, are there any things I need to download first? Right now I am updated to version 1.46, or is it 1.47?? Whatever. That is what I have. I do not have any unofficial addons as I do not like downloading unofficial things for fear that they may ruin my game. But if anyone could tell me what steps I need to take to play this mission, it would be great! Thanks.

Need lots of mission editing help.

Don't just have a chopper come to pick you up. Generally they send in spec ops to rescue downed pilots. Especially if you got downed by AA fire, then the other chopper is at risk of getting shot down too. So that would not be done. I think they would probably send in USN SEAL's or USAF ParaRescue. You could probably ask some of the military folk here as what the protocol is for downed pilots and the men sent in to rescue them. -
Ok, speed and maneuverablity wouln't really be that hindered except for when the men are actually sliding out. And that would only like like a second. After that it can be on its way. And plus, it is doing it stealthily, so it should not need to worry about dodging fire. And often enough, many men use a rope at the same time. So that should not be a problem. They will all basically hit the ground in one quick motion, and the chopper will then be out of there.

I stare at screen for 30 minutes until it says that my connection has been lost. That is why I don't play Multiplayer anymore.
-
I don't know.

What is the second method?

Fast roping doesn't take them all down one at a time. I have seen pics where several lines are dropped down and they all get down pretty fast. And the chopper can be up at the tree height. Â And it's not like each soldeir waits for the man under them to get all the way to the ground before they fast rope. I've seen it where many men are using a rope at the same time and as soon as one hits the ground, he rolls to the side so that he doesn't get landed on. And this also makes insertion more exact. Â You can put them in at a perfect spot. Unlike airborne where you spend like a whole minute and a half to drift to the ground and are uncertain of you exact locaton once you get there. Fast roping would be MUCH faster than airborne insertion. I mean, have you noticed how long it actually takes to hit the ground?? Â By that time the enemy would have already noticed your parachute canopy and are making their way to your position. And I never said this should be used directly into enemy faces. This should be used stealthily in some woods or behind some cover and the Blackhawk should come in LOW behind concealment. Â This is so that the enemy doesn't see the chopper coming in the make the insertion. Â And all the men hit the ground pretty quickly and stealthy. Also, I am tired of my men dying once they jump out of the chopper. They don't die from enemy fire. They get killed as soon as they jump out. Even when I am flying real high. Â 200 yards, and flying at about 0 miles an hour. Â Using auto hover. Â They still get hurt when they jump out. Â I don't know why. But I think fast roping would solve alot of this. Plus, I wouln't need to fly so high, and would therefore not be in that much danger.

I have had waaaaayyyyy toooo many to even remember. The most recent. Â A few hours ago I was playing "Revenge" in the single player missions as a Russian. It was a GREAT battle! It was so realistically done. Â It was a tough fight! Â I lost some men, but man! Â Did we wreck the enemy HQ!!!! Â It felt just like a real war!! Â Bullets flying everywhere, explosions everywhere! People running all around!! We started out of the BMP. Â We ran to the first objective with many other Russian squads at our side. Â I got in a few kills, but mostly I was busy coordinating the attack. Â Telling my men what formation to go into, pointing out enemies by clicking over them. Â Basically making sure the attack went as smoothly as possible. Â I lost one AT man in the initial assault. Â Then a blackhawk came in and was lowering to insert some American Special Forces. Â I quickly grabbed an AT and blew it out of the sky before it could land. Then we progressed into the main battle. Â We are killing alot of men, Mostly my men are doing it. Â I am calling out men so that my men knows that they are there and so that they can shoot them at their leisure. After a while, we have lost a few other men. Â And the enemies are greatly weakened. Â Most are at their base. Â I call in the granadiers and they blow away a whole bunch of men. Â I pull out my RPG and take out an M-60 tank. Eventually we are pretty roughed up, but we were still alive and the enemies were scattered. Â I gathered my men and made for the town center. Just as my men are turning around a corner, my pointman gets killed. Â Immediately I pull the rest of my men behind the building to hide. Â We begin to circle around the other side of the building to flank the enemy who shot him. Â I didn't see him since he was out of our view. Apparently he came around the corner to finish off any other men, and one of my men shot him. Then the mission was complete, I had I think 4 men left. It was intense.
