We just ordered our second server, this time for Operation Arrowhead to ready up for the shortly coming Invasion 1944 update to Combined Operations. We are the eldest unit for Invasion 1944, the greatest WWII mod for ArmAII. We formed ourselves the 31st August, two months before the mod was initially released. That gave us the time to set up and form most of the unit. You may wonder what "9.Pz.Div./9.Pz.Afk." means? Well, it means the 9th Panzer Division, 9th Panzer Aufklärung. That again means we represent the 9th armoured reconnaissance from the 9th armoured division in the German Wehrmacht. "So why an armoured reconnaissance?" well, quite frankly, it's damn interesting. The German armoured reconnaissance troops were very attractive for any German unit out there, as these were specialized high-speed scoutingparties which could pack a serious punch. Panzerdivisions did at time lend even King Tigers to recon troops. Another fact is also that these troops were to first to see the enemy, but unlike regular recontroops, the armoured recon of the Germans even attacked and eliminated the enemy. The tactics used within a Panzer Aufklärung were wide. There was no preset tactic. Rommel, in North Africa, used his armoured recons to obliterate everything in their path until they came to a halt, then waiting for the rest of the army. Whereas Kurt 'Panzer' Meyer would send his troops as a fist into the enemy lines and penetrate a small section of the frontlines, and push deep beyond enemy lines. In this unit, we aim for historical accuracy. Most of our members are WWII interests. We try to stay with original tactics used by the German army, and also German ranks, discipline and an awardsystem that is quite similar to the original one - all while remaining a fun and friendly atmosphere. After all, it's just a game. Hi everyone! First off, I love this mod. From the first player I placed in the editor to test it, I just absolutely love it.... But two months ago, I decided to pull the trigger on something I've always wanted to do. Create a WWII unit for ArmA2, for either I44 or Liberation - whichever came first. It just says that the game configuration is wrong. And to reinstall the program might help. But how can I reinstall when I haven't even installed it? -Huxy

Ok. I'm very new to Arma. I got the MP demo, but I would rather have a SP demo. the last demo with 3 SP missions allowes this. But, Each time I complete the download on almost 3 hours, it won't open it. Why? Tried to download about 4 times (5th right now) with both Firefox and IE. Anyone please help me.
