  1. you do not need to set it catalyst A.I. to advanced. but if you rename, you will still have to use the "-winxp" flag. No strobe with the 9.7 and arma2.exe, but you still get some sever light changes. Crysis strobes, but is not as extreme light to dark. Almost there Bis and ATi...

    Vsysnc is locked in Vista64 and Rc7, some have had ? success with Ray's Ati tray tool. Some missions seem to have a cap....some are total pigs.

    I'm wrote this because in 9.7 driver you have AFR profile for ArmA 2.

  2. Hi there.... at the last Hour i Updated my Computer from ATI 3870 x2 to a NVIDIA GTX 285 AMP... But now Arma2 Crashs after 2 - 4 Minutes. I only get ma Black Screen and my Computer is Rebooting..

    I dont change any other stuff...

    Config:

    Intel Core Extreme X9650 @ 4x 3,6 GH (Watercooled)

    3GB Kingston HyperX DDR2 1066 ( Only 3 GB because 1 GB is damaged and must be removed )

    Asus Maximus Formula

    Zotac NVDIA GTX 285 AMP

    System is Windows 7 RC1 64Bit with newsest Nvidia 64Bit Win7 drivers.

    Hope you can helo me !! With my old card Arma2 Runs greate but i need Nvidia Cude for some new Projects.

    Did you remove/uninstall first ATI drivers?

  3. @Sloop

    so you are all running Vista64. That's why I cannot get it run properly on Windows7 Ultimate Release Candidate 1.... humm

    I think your problem is

    language="German";

    adapter=-1;

    3D_Performance=-4194304;

    Resolution_Bpp=32;

    Resolution_W=1920;

    Resolution_H=1200;

    refresh=60;

    Render_W=1920;

    Render_H=1200;

    FSAA=3;

    postFX=2;

    HDRPrecision=8;

    lastDeviceId="";

    localVRAM=191033344; this is only 182.18359MB...BIS see this

    nonlocalVRAM=191033344;

    ...because for the 3D_performance you have minus value and ArmA don't correct recognize your VRAM and nonlocalVRAM too :bounce3:

    Try this values:

    3D_Performance=100000;

    localVRAM=939524096;

    nonlocalVRAM=2146435072;

    :D
