  1. Don't know what I did wrong the first time. I just tried again in a blank mission. Now it works perfectly good. Exactly what I was searching for. Thanx, Hath Kull

    For making new textures

Sorry, I must have just an old version of TexView. It's 1.1. There is definitely no .tga-output in that. I guess I should look for a more recent version. Thanx for your effort. Hath Kull

    For making new textures

Nope, doesn't work. I need to convert the Flashpoint texture files to .jpg or any other format, that I can edit with Photoshop. TexView saves and loads only .paa and .pac. Thx anyway. Hath Kull
  4. I want to create a set of vehicles (for some private team matches) with team symbols and custom coloring. For that I need to work with BIS-textures, as changing existing ones is easier than creating new ones. Where can I get a good <.paa/.pac> to <.jpg/.bmp/.psd> converter, that works both ways. Most tools do only parts of what I need and not very satisfactory. Can someone provide me with a URL or something? Thanx. 5. Hey Mr. Crashdome, I was a little too enthusiastic before. For some reason the script doesn't work. The player has no weapons anymore, but they don't get stored in the crate. Apparently (according to the ComRef) the "weapons" and "magazines" commands are designed for vehicles only - so that's probably the crucial point. To sum up, it does not work. I'd appreciate any other ideas. Hath Kull
  6. AN ARRAY! Of course! Thanks man. Sometime I'll help you out... Hath Kull
  7. Hi, my problem seems to never have been asked by anyone. I want to strip the player of every piece of equipment and put it all in a nearby ammobox or something (so he can pick it up again later). Has anyone an idea? [i built a shooting range with randomly appearing targets and all the stuff. Now I want the player to lose all of his equipment first. Then he should get a training weapon of his choice. Nothing big, except for the equipment moving from the player to the storage device.] Hath Kull Fight for the light, die for the light and once it may shine upon thee.

    Support

Don't use the radio function. Tasks like calling in support are done much easier and more comfortable via the action menu. (give the player a new action menu entry: ENTRYNAME = player AddAction ["Call Helicopter Support","CallSupport.sqs" - the string between the first quotes appears in your action menu, the second is the name of your script) The script should look like this: ;take away the action menu entry player RemoveAction ENTRYNAME ;make the chopper fly to the player HELICOPTERNAME doMove getPos player Exit Finally you need a trigger which is executed at the condition: "HELICOPTERNAME distance player < 100" (the distance is the real distance, that means you have to take flying height into consideration) and on activation you write: "HELICOPTERNAME flyinheight 0; HELICOPTERNAME land "land". Making it take off again is actually the same thing with another target the chopper flies to. Hath Kull ___ Fight for the light, die for the light and once it may shine upon thee.

    Output a variable-value

Big Thanx guys! It worked - it really, really worked! (I'm a little happy) Hath Kull
  11. Hi editing folks! My problem is the following: I want a variable to count the practice targets a player has hit and put that value in a >hint "..."< command or a camera text. (hintc "Impressive, buddy. You hit {counter} of the 20 targets! How on earth do I output that damn variable-value??? I checked the ComRef1.85 and nearly every big tutorial site. Nothing! Please help me! Hath Kull Fight for the light, die for the light - and it may shine upon thee.
