  1. ...Since 1999 We are a group of devoted gaming enthusiasts who strive to maintain a positive, mature, cheat-free, and insanely intense gaming environment for our members and guests. We have been competing online as a team since 1999. We compete at The Combat Zone Network (TCZ) and TWL. We have competed at The Rumble, CAL, TGL as well as in numerous tournaments. We are excited about the BF3 competition season. With new members joining and old ones returning we continue to primarily be a First Person Shooter team with emphasis on the tactical releases. We made our bones in the Rainbow Six / Rogue Spear Series and came into our own by Ghost Recon / Operation Flashpoint. We have a strong history in the IP Gaming community with focus on the OFP/ArmA, Call of Duty and Battlefield Series. We are currently recruiting for Battlefield 3. We take our competition seriously, competing globally on recognized competition sites, and earning the respect of other clans. If not because of our tactics, because we compete with integrity and hold our members to a high level of expectation. You will find us respectful to others on our servers with a zero tolerance for cheating. Just don’t confuse our “ball busting†comments with being disrespectful. Everyone needs a pair. – Carpe Vacca! Recruiting: We are currently looking for talent to join the team. Please get involved in our forums if interested and join us on the servers! We look forward to meeting you! WHQ - http://themasterclan.net Ventrilo: vent4.gameservers.com:4461 IP: 66.55.149.15:4461 Regardless of our history, experience in the online community, matching and size of our gaming rigs… We like to compete and have fun. Good Games High Fives is seen amongst the team and extended to others. Some things you need to know before you apply. Minimum Requirements: Must be 18+ years old. Own and Operate a Microphone. Installed and able to use Ventrilo Software. Have a desire to compete and be on a team (Run-N-Gun need not apply). Reviewed the website and history with a desire to be a part of this great team. Main interest in First Person Shooters.

  4. The Combat Zone Network is gearing up for a major facelift and ladder code change. Since 2001 we have been working in creating a stand up environment where players and teams can compete on a fun level playing field. Moving from a NUKE format to a custom site with dynamic news was was major change. Getting rid of the point system which served us well years ago was the best! We have always had a system where teams could match when they wanted and as often as they wanted! With the demands changing and needs to provide a more competitive cut and dry system we have revamped the site to include a structured scheduled ladder as well. Where teams need not worry about who what where but only when and what maps! Help us test the site and be a part of the change as we move from a BETA site to live over the next couple weeks! If you already have an account on t your account with the thousands of other users will be moved when we go live to the new site. Until then please login to: http://beta.thecombatzone.net and create a team and join one of the ladders! We will be AUTOMATICALLY testing the code this week and next week turning on the challenge functions and other goodies. Goodies that we will keep to ourselves till Grand Opening Day! A special SHOUT OUT to Rocky and his team! Rocky your the best! You have been supportive and consistant in your relationship with me and my project. I am grateful to have you in our life! 13. Ghost Recon and Operation Flashpoint Gaming Ladder In the summer of 2001 The Combat Zone was developed with one purpose in mind. To support the teams. We wanted to create an environment where players could compete on a level playing field with no bias. Knowing they were the number one priority. That the rules would be enforced and that they would be treated with the utmost respect. They have. The administration body is merely a group of volunteers who treat all participants as guests. We don't allow admins to treat our players with disrespect. Regardless. We give the players the respect they deserve. It is a labor of love that does not cost the participants any money to compete. They need to only show up and have fun. One of the teams that represent the administration body competes but does not take first place. Why? Because it is more important for us to know that YOU have an unbiased ladder to compete on. This is where sportsmanship and integrity are rewarded. We offer an active and well moderated forum for players to meet one another. Since the ladder supports the international community it has been a lot of fun to compete and chat with players from around the globe! This forum is a great area to receive support for the games you compete with. We have an automated team registration program. This allows you to apply and when you are accepted into the ladder you have a team profile area to update at your leisure. The unique dynamic ranking system that we started with has turned out to be one of the most competitive and aggressive around. It allows for the international community to compete together and rewards active teams! It also means you can not squat on a rank. Have you ever run into a problem with a higher ranked team avoiding a match for whatever reason thus limiting your advance? That's not an issue here. There has been much discussion about the Ghost Recon Threat Indicator. When we opened the Ghost Recon ladder we didn't allow it in ladder play. Guess what? We still don't. The rules of game play are rather simple and they support team work. Feel free to stop by and set up a personal account. This account will allow you to post news, recruiting needs, and post in the forums. Should you decide to add a team to the ladder this would be your first step. From your personal account you can develop your team's roster, web site information, banner display, and many other options. Teams on the ladder that make it into the Top 5 get there teams banner displayed on the top of the main page with a link to the teams web site. It's another way that we can recognize the teams and their efforts. After all without the teams this ladder would not be here. Holden Caulfield [CV] http://www.thecombatzone.net Webmaster
