Amen to that buddy, post your IP address if you play only HOLD(AAS).(Addition, not mentioning the better performance of the game) We need an AAS/HOLD community, if you are reading this please guide us...

All I gotta say, "This is a must have" I hope all the servers now get TS and implement this plus add there TS info in the map and we should all use this. To the creators, awesome idea/job, well done boys...Thanks

Hey guys I need your help, lately I've been playing in U.S SOCOM ACE2 Server with Revive, and the funny thing is every time I get revived my gear gets reset. When I join, first thing I do is to gear up, grab my M4 RCO drop NVGs if it's day time, grab the earplugs and shades, get an AT4 and a bagpack. When someone revives me all that gear is gone and when I check in the Ammo box I can't find them in there(To pick them again) My question is, is it this a new feature of ACE2 or Revive Script? or something is wrong, which I think it might be my case. Please help. Thanks

Sir, I own an AR15/M4 DPMS Panther A4, Also I have the pleasure of working with one of the fastest growing Firearm Mfg. and had the pleasure of firing from M9s all the way to AK's (MP5, M16 Full Auto (Vietnam), UZI etc) when it comes to reality what comes out of my headset from SOW is not as close to reality as what VOP2 offers, but again, this is my own opinion and other then the guns sounds everything else sound pretty much better than VOP2, for example, something that I liked, was the explosions from far away, sounded really nice. It will be great if we could combined both mods.

I gotta say that I do not agree with you, my case was all the way around, try firing with the M16 and then let me know. I tried it out for maybe 5 mins and I knew VOP2 was better, not as realistic as I though, even thou, there's other sounds, like enviroment, walking, impacts and jumping that are better than in VOP2, but when it comes to weapons, sorry but I don't think so.

Hell yeah 4890 best option, comparing it with GTX 275, especially in ArmA II.

This is one of the things that I liked the most in ACE 1 and it's something that ArmA II is missing and gives me a headache when I get my M16 ACOG in Vet mode and when I get to the city to clear out then I can't hit shit, so I gotta risk getting TK with an AK that i picked up. (Can't wait for ACE2 to finally come out, pls hurry, and do it right lol, :) ) -
+1 Only thing i dont like, the fire is way too yellowish.(Get some Red in it)

Not a bug as already was discussed by previous reply above mine, it the sun behind you plus the glare reflecting in you aimpoint(red dot) realistic? well people have difference opinions but i think, yes, because even airplane while are between you and the sun, you wont see them, and thats a strategic feature that you as a player can exploid, so what i do is (in your case) i just switch position, if i was heading E to W then I'll go W to E or vice versa. -
Multiplayer "HOLD" maps are where the fun is at!!!

definitely, Hold is the game type for this game, Coop is getting boring(With the super AI on steroids stuff), and there's nothing better than facing humans!!!! EDIt: Forgot the most important detail, Plus the PERFORMANCE (FPS, Quality) is better since we do not have the damn AIs. ACE2 will be the only thing that will bring Coop back to this game, plus of course a couple of more patches, and maybe some more and then some more, maybe a little bit more and probably by then. -

Not working here, maybe im doing something wrong, I put it in my addon folder that I made, i called it @Mod and inside i put the two files needed, inside AddOn folder of course, when i join a multiplayer match all the players still are with the Marine uniform, am i missing something? Note: Also do we have to add "beta" to the shortcut when we are running the beta with the rest of the addons? I've a lot of different stories.

Well i gotta tell you, i dont know what it is either but it did improve my game visual quality a lot and it did improve my performance when i went i did what was suggested. I got an ATI 4890 with 9.8 catalyst and man it did work, now textures load faster, theres no more flickering textures and man, game looks awesome now plus a range of FPS from 35 to 60 with the bugged vsync on of course, if not it would of go over 60. Thanks dude, great finding. (I personally think it might be the combination of deleting the messed up/tweaked cfg file and the maximun payload size change to 1024 in the BIOS, I will suggest changing the payload size to whatever your video card supports.)

Second that, but in my case: I tried the 5.0 version with my trackIR 4 and man it was bugged (latest ATI Drivers or god knows what) I never got the flickering issue in ArmA II and I noticed that with trackIR whenever I turned my head I was getting the flackery thing so I uninstalled version 5 and went back to the latest for version 4, I strongly suggest those folks with trackIR 4 to stick to version 4 as the latest version 5 bugged me to hell, but again might be just me. (The previous version 5.0, not the final, which is the current, didn't mess with me)

ohhhhhhhh i see, trying that out, freaking custom sounds!!!!. Deleting folder now!!! Edit "Delete Sound Folder and You Will Be Set, That's The Solution"

It's happening to must of us impatient guys like me that bought the German version or any other and that are patching (Unofficially) to English, but I had tried without running the game in German and I still get kick.

Look at the words, beta patch, and it has achieved what 3 officials patches had not. More :yay: Conclusion: The idea of have us, the public, including clans and people in general, to be the beta testers is the best idea that BIS could of ever come up with, I'm glad this is the case, this game wont be test it by anyone else as the public will, and hopefully with BIS support this game will be what we all want it to be. Thumbs up for BIS in this idea.(Hopefully this sets a standard for other Game Developers) -
Will my PC Run this? What CPU/GPU to get? What settings? System Specifications.

Oh my... the stuff that I'm reading make me think twice before updating or not, especially with no server support, now they said they wanna beta test patches before, did they test it in LAN??? realeasing a patch and no server support is kind of... banana, that's the word

Yeah if you find a HQ available cuz some just blow them, by fun or just because they go to close, so basically you depend on the HQ as well as for a Heli so it's the same thing, the pole is not the solution so that answer is bad. And yes ArmA II you can tell was made more into the PvP , performance wise it outperforms Coop and playing wise does the same but unfortunately this game comes from a good/best Coop game ever played OFP/ArmA I so it's hard to leave that Coop behind but yes ArmA II is a lot better for PvP and I think the guys in CM intended to go this route since AIs are the buggest in the whole game and the cause for most of the game problems so people why do we have (US) 2 or 3 servers running PvP only, let's get more PvP servers out there USA!!! the European people have a couple, especially the germans, let's get with the program here!!! In the whole ArmA II there has to be less then 10 PvP servers that people do go in and most of them are from the other side of the world. -
I had to go back to Arma I and look at the sky with NVGs and guess what? ArmA I stars look 10 times more realistic and better than ArmA II with NVGs on, dont know why they messed up in this one.
