Thanks Soviet, much apreciated Finished the improved UB32A-57, 57mm rocket pod for use with aircraft. Added some small things to the model, made it a little lighter, changed the texture to match the real one, added a bluish-look to the aluminium color, added material maps. Now making other LODS. Enjoy

Redone UB32A-57 rocket pod, for aircraft use. Trying to make it look more aluminium and less white. I do not like so much the frontal part but I cannot drill those holes on the model, else I would have a megakiller polycount, unfortunately. And painting holes on a cone is not that easy -

Looks damn cool to me, keep on this awesome work, mate -
Nice looking models Gnat, you are doing better with textures too Nice to see things on the sea too, makes me want to start modeling some coastal defences eheheheh

I would love some nice custom FX, to be sincere, the 1500 KG class bombs deserve a bigger explosion, as well as the incendiary devices would need proper FXs... I would LOVE some help with scripts and FXs, if anybody is willing to help that would be more than apreciated. A fuel air for the Opfor team ( ODAB 500PM ) is already on my desktop, I have hi res pics and blueprints, that killer " air-bubble-then-explode" graphic FX would add a lot to the game... Clusters and submunitions dispensers need scripts, unfortunately I cannot help with those. About models, no problems at all I will release a complete package of ammo later, but if you are in need, check the first page of the topic, what says COMPLETE can be delivered Cheers, GH.

Would be awesome putting him randomly in a map, so while you are advancing in the night with your SF soldiers trying to make no noise... ch ch ch ch... There he comes with a blade to ruin the party! -

Hey Aimpoint, you did all the work, no need to thank me Jason in ArmA is definitely a scary enemy, I need to build a special ammo to bomb him out now! Maybe a small nuclear-flamethrowering-cluster-incendiary-.50 caliber armor piercing ammo for the Barrett ? Uhm, no no it needs something bigger to get "killed".. Ch ch ch ch ah ah ah ah.... Gnat, give me some directions for the bombs you need on that B52 So I can start acquiring pictures and blueprints And Maza, nice looking Units, good work! -

Awesome work Gnat, for that beast you need some dumb ordnance, since GBUs are for perfectly aimed bombing. I'll look around in my database and bake something bombilicious, thinking a lot about polycount, in your case lol -

Thanks Gnat, I'll give it a try

Finally I can say I'm happy with the model, I complitely reworked this one, to match the higher standard quality I'd like to release. The seeking head has been redone from scratch complitely, I reworked also the glass dome covering the TV device. Fins and textures updated. I would have done better with text definition but with a mere 512*512 texture, considering the missile's dimensions, it is the best I can do. Some datas for this newborn model: KH-29T ( NATO reporting name: AS-14 Kedge ) A short range, supersonic, Fire and Forget air-to-surface missile, intended to destroy hardened targets. It features a TV-based guidance system. Maximum effective distance of launch is 8-10km. It has been integrated on the Mig-27, Su-17, Su-22, Su-24 and Su-25 soviet attack aircraft, as well as the newest models. Enjoy

Well done Blazer, nice looking model Personally I'd love to see it in Su-37 Terminator's camo, it's my favourite camo for an East sided airplane, together with the fancy Su-39's one, even if this would be a lil uncorrect The plane was supposed to be built during Cold War Era. But since it's a fictional model you could try you personal camouflage, maybe taking russian's airplanes as references. Actually the Firefox was the fiction result of a real fear, during Cold War there were rumors about a uber-fighter coming from cold URSS, bigger and faster than the already misterious Mig-25, full of technology and with futuristic armament An helpful link: http://thinkinrussian.org/about.cfm -

Mig 31 BM can carry antiradiation missiles like KH-31 or KH-58. But this is a strike missile, similar to the Maverick Anyway, are you building up the fictional Firefox, from the 80's movie? In than eventuality you can arm it up what whatever you want, lol -
I would like to know if it is possible to have in game some kind of platform, a concrete-made one, maybe, to deploy devices such AA guns or Arty on a separate base, not on rough terrain. This because it happens that often terrain it is not plain, and I would like my pieces standing correctly and not bended  Not a modeling problem, I can do it myself, but I have no idea on how to configure it. I mean, It should be walkable and usable, a solid base to whatever you may want to have a correct position on a rough and wild ground. Any ideas?

Very good job everybody, nice to see something new for Missions Editor Keep the good work on Fast Bulldozer preview of the new model of KH29T (AS-14 Kedge) Air to Ground missile. While we already have ingame the L version, the Kh-29T is the TV-guided variant and has a top speed of Mach 1.0, with a range of 12 km. I remade all the seeker, trying to give it a more realistic look, also filed away some un-needed polys and made a new texture. It's a work in progress, I'm finishing the material maps, and also texture will have some more decals and a lil bit of weathering. Enjoy -
Hey no problems, guys Yes it's definitely a Kab500L, and I was thinking to put on hold the modeling of the S versions and make other stuff that may be more useful. A East side proper laser designator would be a nice addon for Spec Ops, if I remember well I should have a pic of one of those in my archivie, but a big thing, mounted on a tripod. I'd prefer to model missiles, that's my field actually, I am thinking about solutions for cluster dispensers-bombs and Fuel Air explosives as well. But never say never, I modeled a LD for P'85 already I seriously need an hand with visual FX-scripts for my incoming FAEs, I have good references-blueprints of those and I'd like to introduce them ingame soon Thanks for comments and advices, I am glad you guys apreciate and find my work useful And I'd like to thank also some people that are alwasy there to help: Aimpoint, DaSquade, Eddie from Racs Mod, Aushilfe, Soul Assassin, Southy... and many more who help me with advices, tips, tutorials. Thank you all guys

I'm sorry Robert, if you want projectiles, missiles, rockets or something similar just ask.  I do not like to say no, expecially to people who work so hard for the Community, like you,  but it would take me forever to complete the model. Thank you for understanding  Meanwhile here you guys a lil preview: made normals all by myself ( yayyy, thank you Aimpoint!!! ), got to change a lil bit speculars and LOD it dowN, then the baby is ready

Robert, I once tried to make an AT5 launcher but got bored after some days.. Mostly I make bombs and missiles, because my field is texture, not modeling. Making an easy model , like a missile or a bomb, gives me a lot of time to work on textures. On the other side, a more complex model takes me away a lot of my spare time, considering that I mostly build up things using just O2. And that bores me almost immediately. That's a reason why I do not make guns or tanks. So, I'd prefer to model just ammos

I should study how the visual FX work in ARMA, design and paint is not a problem to me, but putting that into the game engine could be so... @ ofpdeadeye: they are simple screenshots from Bulldozer, I added shadows in PS, but colors may change a bit in the game engine, with its own lighting system
-
I would love to know how, so I could make Fuel Air as well.. Hopefully I'll get some help soon, a shockwave is a great idea, it would add some realism and a lot of fun in the missions!
