Ah, you see its because you where the one who made the console script and Bigpoppa was the Thread starter so i figured it must be you. Thanks for your reply on the EDIT Q. I think im going to have to do a + and - kinda thing. It wont be as good as typing it in but itll do.(when i say + and - i mean everytime you click + the distance goes out ,say, 5 metres)Or if BIS get out the patch soon enough ill use the slider. For your onchange thing, could you not use a loop and check if the user has selected a different thing. When i was deleting the bits in the mission.sqm i realised just how much work hs gone into this. Hats off to you! It's taken me 1 month and a half to do a police mission and ive still got problems! (the ones mentioned above ) PEACE

Supermarket! OF course! I always have it on 16bit. My GC aint got 32bit I think thats why the watch dont work. NOT FAIR! Also an idea for improvment in next version; When the passengers get off they just stand there and its hard not to run them over. When i mean probs with res i mean in the editor. Firing problems using the dofire and setunitpos and sound problems like IT WORKING ONCE AND NOT WORKING AFTERWARDS! Ahem...Thank you for the quick responses. PEACE

Maybe itll play better with the Full game. Dunno about what system is needed, but ive got an 700mhz CELERON! 320mb sdram! and a built in intel 82810 graphcs card and the performance is good on 640x480 with medium detail. Res is particualry good at managing lots of units PEACE

Yea, its just that my comp's slow so its not very enjoyable driving around in a bus. Oh god! Imagine being in a plane! Ok here is the Big list of Q's: How do you make a fire? Where can you buy meals "Ready to Eat" (if you can) Who thinks Resistance is quite Buggy? no-one? ok. So far ive had Problems with firing, standing up and sound. (in the mission editor, not in the game:p ) And last but not least: When is OFPEC coming back to us? I miss it PEACE

Closedialog 0 Â Â maybe the closedialog thing only closes the current Dialog box. Like in the main menu when you click options and another dialog comes up. If you put closedialog 0 you might need another closedialog 0 to close the main menu screen. Maybe this is true and you allready know that though. PEACE -
How long do you have to go on the bus for? im up at Troska at the moment and dont know what to do. Do i just keep driving? Also what do i need to make a fire? When i try and play it again after ive left and saved it it takes about 2 minutes then quits to desktop saying "saved/blablabla/mini-resworkingmission cannot read line 51" or something like that. But i copied all the files out of the saved game folder, made a new game put them back in and pressed rety and it worked! so i guess i just have to do that everytime then Also i only get 5 fps! Man my comp sucks. I have it on 3.9 visual detail 640x480 and everything else down or off. (including most of the stuff in preferences) Ah well! PEACE

Awww it doesnt work. The intro works but when it starts the mission it says missiong add-ons "gateo and tree1" Where can i get these? I D/L and installed the Civilian vehicle thing and the 1mb addons. Thanks. **EDIT** Ok, i used PBO decrypter to open up the mission.sqm then i deleted all the entries for gateo and tree1 (there was only one!. Its quite laggy on my comp but it works. PEACE

Hey, Im using the EDIT (text box) to let the player decide how far away the artillery should be. But i need the returned value in number format and EDIT returns it in string format. Is there anyway to change this or convert the string into number format. Thanks, 8) PEACE -

I dunno if this has already been mentioned ( i can't be bothered sifting through 17 pages) but theres something wrong with the setunitpos and dofire commands. For example I have a script which uses dofire to make a unit fire on a member of an array. But it wasnt working despite the fact that an exact replica of it was. Why? Because of this bug. It wasnt until a similar thing happened in my outro that i realised what the h*ll was going on. This bug is responsible for hair loss on a teenage boy. So if anyone is having problems with the dofire command its because you are using setunitpos.
