BAS Tonal, I think you mean, completely different thing altough it is an African city. But seriously, who is so crazy to play OFP without addons, I always just suffer with the regular units. The default addons for me in MP are FDFmod 1.2, SEB 'Nam Pack 2 and maybe MAP.

Are you saying the Soviet Union was not imperialistic? edit: This is becoming too political, but all I have to say is that if you even a bit seriously think the Soviet Union was cool then you're living in a fantasy world. And that's all I have to say about that.

Yes, that was my point.

It's my invisible-except-through-camera friend! Seriously, that's some f***ed up sh14t, don't know what that's all about. Goob, reeeally nice pics, some wallpapers there.

Damn commies! I still prefer to play as East, just for the variation from having to play Americans in every other games, it's something different and refreshing, and I just love the Russian equipment.

Artak, Hawkins, MI_Fred and me were playing WeedOps, we blocked the way for a convoy with our STT KLR bikes. Handy! Those damn strange OFP geoLODs, here we see Hawkins waiting on top of a rock, looking quite Matrix-ey(?).

Talk about gulf war ii modification

Just because other mods are doing similar stuff (and you say they will be doing it better) is no reason to tell this mod not to bother. If the community is going to have new teams forming, the majority of them will have to overlap with other's work becuase think how many conflicts people would want to play (well known ones) which don't already have 2-3 teams working on them? That's the reason I'm SUGGESTING that they don't bother, I may be wrong, but I doubt it, and that's just my 0.02€. -
I didn't like Hitman 1 much (terrible controls, very hard) but Hitman 2 was more to my tastes. Stylish, inventive, altough it got a bit too sci-fi, fantasy and shoot-em-up there in some places, like at the Japanese fortress. I say, more hits in urban locations where there are multiple clever solutions, not just sneaking around and loading and saving when you get caught.

That's true Tactician, it could be very interesting if done correctly. But well...better not have that much fighting in big towns, with the OFP engine being what it is. -
Wow, who expects to play Far Cry on anything else? The game really looks amazing, but iron sights, iron sights...that yellow crosshair just ruins it for me. Well, still I can just dream of playing it with those kinds of graphics, 1 ghz CPU here.

What would it look like if everyone asked for comments all the time like you do? Instead of asking for comments (why do you want them anyway) try to make some better pics that will attract comments without you asking for them.

Talk about gulf war ii modification

A modification, you say? I really doubt that this modification could do better than the BAS desert pack, HYK soldiers, MAP etc. in terms of U.S equipment, so it would be great if they concentrated on some nice Iraqi terrain and buildings, and OpFor of course. Of course, GWC is doing that too... edit: And well, a GWC2 campaign, how hard can it be? Are they going to make up more casualties than there really were and make the Iraqis more motivated, because otherwise it's going to be pretty damn easy to cut through Iraqis with air support etc, you won't have to fear much. -
Extremely cool pic, Aimpoint. Aah and Lupus, no more gnat-like Gazelles for me when that REAL gunship comes out.

Same here, Troy is sounding quite interesting. As for this - seen it a thousand times before.

You propably need a state-of-the-art computer to play it. Looks amazing though, not like OFP at all.
-
Hey I didn't mean that, read my post again.

WGL include their own skies, they only use Kegetys' sky installer. The Kegetys one is way better, anyway.

What is the state of flame weapons like flamethrowers and napalm today? During WW2, it was discovered that the soldier using a flamethrower is a bullet magnet, if they are captured they will not be treated well to say the least, and the risk of collateral damage is high if the fuel tank ruptures. But I do know that the U.S armed forces were still using flamethrowers as late as Vietnam, and of course napalm that is IIRC outlawed today. The Russians also had an incendiary warhead for an RPG. Why did the flame tank concept not take off? You would think that it would be a great weapon for destroying infantry and if it did have a flamethrower.bunkers, and a tank would not be more of a bullet magnet even if it did have a flamethrower. Well, this is all scraps of information that I remembered and thought about myself, can anyone clarify on the state of flame weapons today? Are they unpopular because they are impractical, inhuman, or probably a combination of both?

BOOORING! I've played this game ten times before! A D-Day paratrooper, plz. Of course there are, as long as Americans are somehow involved, even European companies prefer to make such games because there's a huge market both in the U.S and elsewhere where people just assume that you always have to play as Americans.

Just like a large part always has.
