Itkk with lowered tripod is just static weapon. So many things to do but so little time. I understand, but on the contrary the ItKK (Low) is a very important weapon. I can hardly use the Maxim for any mission after 1980, and the standard ItKK (standing up is very dangerous and obvious) is really not suited for field combat and moving around, more like checkpoint and base defense. Well, I'll use the PKMS in the meantime. Keep up the good work.

CS is not like OFP. In CS you can get shot 10 times and still live to fight again. OFP your very luckey to live throught the first hit. Counter Strike=Unrealistic Operation Flashpoint=Relestic In CS you really stand quite few hits, and in OFP you can stand some too in Cadet mode, the difference is that in CS you suck the bullets up like a sponge until the number reaches 0, then you die. In OFP, your aim gets messed up and you can't walk as you get more injured. CS is "relistic" compared to Ut2k4, OFP is "relistic" compared to CS, but OFP is still no simulation. (the only truly realistic thing is actually...reality.)

OFP is a game, not a simulator... a simulating game? or a game which simulates being a game? or just a game? You're freaking me out! I said it's a GAME, just closer to a sim than most others!

It could be a great idea. I think that OFP2 should be a total soldier simulation. Of course this would be the ideal campaign for us OFP fans, but I'm afraid making friends with civilians and being ambushed by 5 guys every third mission wouldn't sell as much as an all-out war campaign, I think.

But what about people taking the flag and swimming out to sea? Also, your equipment would most probably be seriously f***ed up if you swam, this would involve a whole other system of how to decide if a piece of equipment is damaged by moisture, properly protected etc. edit: On the other hand, it could be an emergency measure that damages your equipment but...is useful in an emergency.

Actually, since the book is based on the game it should be the other way around... The game is based on the book...
