What do the Xbox fanboys' opinions have to do with Halo 2 being made for the PC?

This sentence just doesn't make any sense at all. I will wait for the PC version anyway, will probably be moderately fun like its predecessor. When will the PC version be out, any date set?

Do not fire unless fired upon. Yep mistakes would of been made like all wars. But the the "civillians" were carrying guns firing at soldiers so the response is fire back. Fact: Many unarmed civilians were killed in Mogadishu, intentional or not, unavoidable or not. But BHD is not the topic here, it is just an example game where you shoot civilians too, often by mistake...

If so, only as a hidden selection, I hate having a bunch of useless "camouflage face", "put on goggles", "put on light branches 1" "put on branches 2", "open back window" etc. actions clogging up the action menu.

Surviving a disaster and probably helping others vs. Killing hundreds including civilians as a soldier á la Black Hawk Down No I don't think it's offensive.

I like Hellfish's view on the political aspects of making the mod, what you do should be up to yourself, the mod should only provide the environment. African wars, while being very interesting, are a relatively ignored subject and I wish you all the luck in making this mod.

Will the editing tools be released with the game? Is the emphasis still on infantry combat or will vehicle physics modeling and realism be brought up to par? What level of damage modeling will units have and how will it differ from OFP1? How will the command system and radio traffic differ from OFP1, and will there be direct support for commanding other/larger groups than 12 units? Built-in fire support system? That's all I can think of...asking about teeny details like sparks, leaning, animals etc. is really irrelevant.

Hardly any surprising news (JIP, leaning, graphics fx...of course), but it's still...comforting to know that OFP2 is being worked on. I do not care how long I have to wait as long as the end product is top quality.

OFP can't possibly be compared to or replace Halo or Call of Duty IMO, they're completely different types of games.

3D mark has little to do with actual performance ingame in my experience...I don't think I'll bother to even install this, 03 works just OK on my comp.

By the way, doesn't everyone agree that the most stupid BIS animation still left is the prone reloading one? I mean come on, the soldier's hand doesn't even come close to the weapon he's supposedly reloading, it's as if he's transferring rounds to the magazine by magic/willpower. Reloading animations could use the most improving IMO.

And mocking liberals excludes that possibility?

You'll pay 20-30 € more just so that you won't have to change the discs during installation? I might buy that edition anyway (the good consumer that I am ), it would be interesting to play HL:Source... According to people's budgets and needs?
